This is the song that immediately transports me to a beautifully simple time in my childhood. I was 8 years old when this song played on the radio during the car ride to the movies with my dad. I went to go see Rugrats in Paris in Downtown Disney's AMC theater that day. That same day, my dad also took me to Burger King when they had the Rugrats watch toys that came with the kids meal. I got a watch with Phil and Lil on it. Then, my mom bought me a Sony Walkman CD player and I was gifted Nelly Furtado's CD with this song on it. I can't tell you how many AA batteries I went through just to listen to this song. Whether at the skating rink, or patiently waiting for Windows XP SP2 to finish installing, this song was most likely played. I know we have this cruel unidirectional flow of time, but these memories were very beautiful to me. Thanks for reading.
