Nelly Martinez Garay - Cuando El Destino - 29th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza Vocal Competition

Nelly Martinez Garay is a student at Mark Twain Dual Language Academy in San Antonio, Texas and was a selected finalist of the National Vocal Competition of the 29th Annual Extravaganza. She was accompanied by Mariachi Aztlán from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
The Mariachi Extravaganza is the largest mariachi festival in the world for competitive mariachi. Over 1,000 mariachi musicians, educators, and aficionados gather in San Antonio, TX every year to be a part of competitions, workshops, and events hosted by the Extravaganza.
The Mariachi Extravaganza is sponsored by KHS Academic Alliance and H-E-B.
