1000 subs, excellent milestone. I'm still struggling although it's knee now not glutes. Got 20 mile fell run this Saturday so will see how much i can run of it. Knee seems do decide for itself when it wants to twang. Sometimes even the most pounding downhills won't give it any bother at all, so will see how it holds up.

Only done this park once and loved it. Wentvin completely blind and couldn't beluve the hills lol.

I need to get across the country and do Pollok. Ran in the park a lot when I lived in Shawlands in the 80s.

Great run! Hope you're recovering well. Only done Pollok a handful of times but I love that finish, and also hate the S bend (a local told me they called it "the scorpion" - makes a lot of sense). Colin seems familiar as someone who helped pace me to a Strathclyde PB at some point this year maybe? If so, what a man!

Thanks David! Recovery is progressing, just a lot slower than I’d have hoped. I’ll get there eventually 😃 Colin was a pacer at Strathclyde at the start of February - 28 minutes I believe. Not sure if that’s the run you’re thinking of?

@@Scottishparkruns I've not been in that position, but I imagine it's frustrating. That sounds like the guy, he did a fine job.
