Thank you for this music that inevitably leads me down memory lanes. Their voices, their love story (which J's fanclub now proudly document and broadcast) seem so alive. They take me to a time of romance and admiration from afar, of course much different from present times. My mother inherited a crank Victrola from her aunt so we were introduced to this fabulous music via 78rpms, mimicking the songs And their varying speeds. My siblings and I had so much fun singing these tunes without benefit of knowing who the performers were. I only recently had the pleasure of researching them on the web and finding out their history. I am so delighted to have them available now in the palm of my hand. I'm having fun sharing them, too.

I love these two ,when they sing love songs they are really very convincing ,maybe because they really loved each other , makes my old eyes well up , you can see it in their faces and I think is a wonderful and beautiful thing , may God give them a special place in heaven ..

Maybe they couldn’t be together as a couple but they had their movies n radio programs n tv appearances and as far as I’m concerned Gene Raymond was a kept man so sad for Jeanette she put up with him all those years 😥

I'm delighted and amazed to hear a recording of the Nelson Eddy show from 1946 , since audio cassettes didn't come about till the 60's . How were you able to get hold of this recording ?

These radio shows were on an early form of tape, something like silver nitrate or something like that. Someone from one of the clubs shared a copy of the recording with me and that’s what I used.

Please STOP obsessing about their private lives (which is none of our business) and look what they did for cinema and music. So great were their influence that James Cameron copied the plot of "Maytime" for his "Titanic" Coward that he is will never admit it.

I’m not sure who you’re addressing your comments to but if it’s to me personally, I feel I’ve done my part to promote their musical and cinematic legacy. Since both have been dead for over 50 years, their private lives are no longer personal, they’re part of history and you can’t tell their authentic story without including it. And almost every movie maker or storyteller has used variations of these plots forever dating back to the Greeks. You’re entitled to your opinion, but not to telling others what to think, share or discuss.
