The introduction of Tata's speech shows a continuos expression of his humility in being elected and voted as a leader and a president. His said he is been honored "He knows that through this award you are not recognizing an individual achievement but recognizing South Africa as whole" .

This is from Harvard's website: "On September 18, 1998, at a rare, special convocation at which he was presented with an honorary degree, President Nelson Mandela spoke to a crowd of 25,000 in Tercentenary Theatre, calling on citizens of the world’s developed nations to partner with emerging democracies to alleviate hunger, poverty and disease."

If there is a God to Bless this great man may it be so. My sincerest condolences to all South Africa. A great humanitarian leaves a huge void in the world when they depart.

Nelson Mandela refused to be called Dr. Mandela because he believed in humility and down to earthiness. A true son of Africa, if not the whole world at large, Madiba is one person that has inspired me in so many ways that I can never imagine. As far as I am concerned, he like my father, teachers and lecturers have moulded me into what I am today. JSL.

Race problem is a problem, where one person is against another person based on its race, white or non-white it is the same. You may feel it as genocide, I don't... but imagine how the Africans felt as early as the 1940s. Compassion is a trait that will serve humanity....
