Give me a break, Jeff. Let's assume Chapek is responsible for ALL of Disney's problems. Who's responsible for hiring Chapek? The stock is currently trading at the same level as it did in 2015. Is this really long term success in building shareholder wealth? Re: Nelson Peltz, he's a billionaire financier. Enough said. Jeff needs to take his ideological blinkers off and see reality. Sorry he's sore anyone dares criticize his beloved woke company and its incompetent leadership. 2015 was a long time ago. No gain since then. Case closed.

the arrogance is breathtaking. replacing one or two of the existing board members with peltz and rasulo does not cause the board to materially change. it allowing a dissenting voice a chance into the conversation. i am deeply disappointed in iger's performance over the last six years, and may of the very politically slanted decisions he has made.

Unfortunately Jeff is an activist academic who does poor analysis which tries to bolster his predetermined position. Jeff poorly represents Yale on the national stage.

The entire thing is a political move by Perlmutter and Peltz. Both are very right wing and do not at all like there being a focus on female characters or those of color. Perlmutter has a long history at marvel and he knows nothing of his audience or of the product he owns. He actually tried to have Kevin Feige (Inarguably the most successful producer ever) fired because Kevin wanted to make Black Panther. This just looks like a wY to get control of disney and shut down what disney has always been. Peltz needs to be rejected completely.

Btw how is Kevin feige is successful? Let look at the box office: Ms marvel flop, Ant man Kang flop, She hulk flop, The Eternal flop, Thor Love and thunder flop etc.. lmao 😂

The majority of the films he has produced have made over a billion dollars each, something no other producer has ever accomplished. 16 of them are the top grossing films of all time. He also produced all of the xmen films. Additionally, Eternals is one of the most viewed marvel fims on Disney+ turns out it was just different from the others. Ant Man Kang was overall solid but it had some weak FX She Hulk and The Marvels i primarily blame on women hating reviewers flooding the web. She Hulk was the comic. I mean i cannot do anything about a bunch of whiny little men who cannot handle seeing a woman or a person of color in a lead role who do not need saving. And there are way too many of them running around these days. Including the Hedge Fund manager who is trying to worm his way onto the Disney board currently.

@@Ryanlexz Sorry but Ike Perlmutter is NOT a moderate. that is laughable. Who cares if they are jewish. What does that have to do with anything. They could be purple skinned and from timbuktoo for all I care. They bott have a history that says otherwise. Especially Perlmutter who has owned Marvel for a long time.
