There is a difference between full possession and torment. I thought I was possessed as christian but Jesus, Holy Spirit and Father corrected me time and time again that I cannot have evil spirit inside because Holy and unclean don't mix! But instead we get tormented from the outside. They can tell us from the outside what to do, what to feel and so on. They can even bind us to evil spirits with bandages that are like chains connecting us to an evil spirit but that is on outside too. That is not possession, it's a bandage or torment.

I’ve struggled with this for a year now since I got saved I been tormented even spiritual attacked by them they also manifest themselves if I think about them or when I’m angry or when I pray . I think they came from unforgivness because when I first came to Jesus and said I forgive I forgive that’s when I received my tongues and that’s when they started manifesting through me even speak through me in weird language or scream nooo I believe it’s a stronghold that I must break through fasting and prayer please pray for me to finally be delivered from unforgivness and a lot of unhealed wounds . Thank you for addressing this. I often wonder about pride (ego) of some who claim to be Christians within a moment of meeting them. They jump into a prideful script where they essentially one-up you about the Good News. They don’t seem happy or joyful, and it doesn’t come across as an authentic interaction. It’s like they are trying to show off their “credential” with God and immediately assume you are lower than them and don’t know God and immediately launch into one upsman-ship gloating and lecturing. Usually this all occurs before they have even resonated with you as a human, much less as a fellow human in Christ. I understand that beginners often wish to share their learning but it is childish and a bit like showing off a new toy or reason why you should think well of them. Why do these types presume you don’t know the Lord? Why do they presume you need to be spoken down to? I am not a touchy person and this is the first time I have made mention of this but I have experienced it my entire life, from a few people in religious communities.

Positive energy especially for pure children. There are plenty of Christians with demonic attachments. It may be from trauma, or addictions such as to porn or substances, it could be a negative relationship they have with a coworker. It doesn’t make them bad Christians, it just shows them they have more work to do to be successful in Christ. The Bible is a book that teaches us to use discernment, to test and be tested. To distinguish between those pure of heart and purpose and those heavy of heart, those who face betrayal in the Bible have often not exercised discernment.

I have met a few Christians who I thought were genuine and I hear the Holy Spirit speak through them, and then the next moment they are cursing people and speaking lowly of others and I have wondered how that could be?? This cleared up a lot. I'm finding there are many "righteous" people whose hearts are not as pure as they make one believe.

I have came across a couple of people who teach that but it didn't seem to be accurate to me. So I chose not to receive it. Yes. When we choose to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are indeed saved, but there are things that may have been passed to us through our bloodline. As well as things that we attached to prior to getting save that is still attached to us. They need to be cast out. We need to repent for these things, renounce them, and as he have stated we need to forgive AND stop engaging in certain acts. I have came across SO many so- called Christians who dabble in things of the occult. These things give access to demons as well. There are also MANY so-called Christians who are full of pride. And that give demons access to them as well. A part of being free and delivered is to acknowledge that you have that issue and need deliverance from it. God will NOT intervene and take it away until you do that.

Dude, "self" deliverance is a reality. Repent and turn away from all willful sin. If God gives you dreams, He will usually use symbols to let you know what kind of Spirits you are dealing with. I believe He does this so that we can access and use the power and authority to drive out demons (Matt 10:8) and (Luke:10:19). Fast when God prompts you, e.g. when you kinda lose your appetite, but even before then if you are able. I believe this is one of God's many ways of preparing us to help others with deliverance. With Jesus on your side, nothing can fail, especially if you willingly align with the Will of God. Don't wait for someone else to deliver you when Jesus Himself has given you the power. Prayer, fasting, all the while rebuking those spirits tormenting you. One by one they will leave. The Holy Spirit will teach and guide you. And I along with others will pray for your spiritual discernment to be increased 1000-fold. Fight for yourself with prayer and fasting and God will be right there fighting with you. Rebuke any and all evil spirits working against you in the name of Jesus and believe. Pray until your done, rebuke until the demons are out. Your dreams might get a little crazy, but let that lead you to seek God more and more for protection and guidance. Lastly, listen to the Psalms, specifically Psalms 91 on repeat. May the God creator of heaven and earth, and all that is seen and unseen purify and cleanse you and lead you into the life of fruitfulness and abundance that Jesus died for you to have.

The Holy Spirit cannot cast any demons out of anyone. The person who has the demons needs to take their authority and command them out. Demons have legal rights to torment Christians as long as the person refuses to forgive all who hurt them (Matthew 18:21-35), as long as they keep pride in themselves like Lucifer, and as long as they tolerate sin in their lives and refuse to repent. People have freewills to obey the Bible and Jesus or not. Holy Spirit will speak to the person to try and get them to forgive all, repent for pride and sin and command demons out.

Firstly, my observations show that the Holy Spirit and evil spirits can indwell a believer at the same time. Many that inherited ancestral spirits through ancestral covenants become believers and get indwelt by measures of the Holy Spirit. Such people display the fruit of the Holy Spirit and zeal for God, but the outworking of the ancestral spirits still do manifest in their behavior and experiences. I have come to see that this, mostly, is a matter of measures, that is, when the believer doesn't get completely filled with the Holy Spirit, probably respecting the ancestral covenant in the believer's bloodline, evil spirits that were erstwhile residents occupy whatever space is available, and from there influence the believer from time to time. Scriptural evidence for the above is in the 8th chapter of the book of Ezekiel where evil spirits were indwelling portions of the Lord's temple while His glory was yet in it. He said to Ezekiel that the elders of His people brought the evil spirits in to make Him go away from His house, meaning, He was yet there. Indeed, believers mostly do get infilled with the Holy Spirit measure by measure as they walk with the Lord. This is also attested to by Scriptures. Secondly, I beg to differ on the point of unforgiveness, even towards unrepentant and unremorseful people, being the doorway for the infestation with demons. The Lord Jesus taught to count offenders that lack remorse as publican in Matthew 18, not forgive them willy nilly. Teaching that what the Lord taught to do would open doorways to demons is a serious mistake. Personally, the Lord tells me to leave unrepentant offenders to Him, not to forgive them anyhow.
