Proper title is Keyboard Concerto in d minor arranged for violin solo. At first I thought too fast but it works, great playing and sound. It just shows how great Bach is, his music can be transcribed for anything and it works. I loved the cadenza part, making the violin do the counterpoint on 3 strings. I once asked a steel drum player, tongue in cheek if he knew any Bach, he started playing Jesu Joy, I was amazed. He told me Bach makes you do things on the steel drum you have never done before so it makes your technique great. Anyway, as a Gould fan, this is great music making.

STRANGE! Where have I been? Eighty years old, a former symphony musician, and I didn't know that Bach wrote a D-minor violin concerto! Is this a new discovery? I used to play the A-minor and the E-major, but where did this come from? Very impressive writing and performance here! (Wayne in northwest Arkansas, USA)
