Installed the demo. While I feel it does not come close to the product it resembles, the sounds you could get are interesting. I started with the presets and worked my way from there and found some very useful sounds for different kinds of music that sit well and cut through the mix. Also the starting price is very tempting! Combined with cab/mic sims and IR loader you get a lot for your buck. The only cons, as I said, it does not have that DG over the top sound that is much desired nowdays by modern bass players.

played both the real thing and a vst. can't say that Alpha Omega sounds much better, just a bit different. Not by that much though
