Yep! Normally you cannot preform the same action twice during an activation. However outside the activation, there's no such restriction. Very powerful!

For the top cam we use Sony zv-e10 with a E 3.5/30 macro lens and for the dice cam we just use a go pro -Pond

I think there needs to be all the pieces of terrain that come with the set on the map otherwise it’s just a barren featureless desert out there. With LOS going all over the place, it’s a sniper’s paradise.

Yeah the obj markers do provide terrain. But I hear you. More would be nice. We'll definitely be using maps with the extra bd terrain in future games. Also go back to our open boards. The custom forest and ice maps are a lot of fun

@@2CasualYT Felgore are the only team I have seen make it across the gantries against a shooting team. Dire Avengers love that terrain. The can pop up, shoot, possibly shooting two targets and then drop back down. Necrons are diabolical, with their shooting and slowdown mine.

Thanks for keeping an eye out. But the skintheif only gets his damage reduction in melee, no effect on ranged. As for that plasma shot, it was a little mispeak. it did deal 5 damage, and Pete meant to say "4 wounds remaining" instead of 4 damage taken. good catch though

I've been watching a lot of your batreps and trying to decide between starting with Kill Team or Warcry. Any advice?

Killteam is a bit more competitive, warcry is mote narrative To this date, Killteam has gotten a lot of support, whereas Warcry has had some of its warbands be retired. An advantage of warcry is better list options and Killteam had ubiqutous options. Usually, if you take a gunner, the only option is plasma since its the best

I haven't played warcry yet. But as I understand its a lot like Ness said from what I've seen. I say if you like an aesthetic better or a team you like, go for that one. Kill Team is definitely focused on a balanced gameplay experience where every team is basically viable and you can win by outplaying your opponent. (e.g. no losing at list building). so its a fun, well supported game. I'de also look at starter boxes for the game your interested in. the KT starter box is amazing value and holds some great teams. I'm sure warcry has good ones too.

haha yeah, sometimes we like to weave in the faction ops bc they bring variety and feel narrative. But sometimes they are just really hard to score

We have mixed feelings on it. it is new and interesting, but it has some glaring problems. -heavily favors teams with high mobility/fly - 1/3 of the maps are kinda janky - there are some faqs we need answered (these should be answered soon at dallas open) Can You Roll a Crit made an awesome video breaking down the issues with it. that aside, I do love: -the aesthetic and play with elevation -defined map placements -its really fun when both teams are equally capeable in handling BD I would not recommend it to a new player, but to a vet looking for something new, its worth trying.
