Wow, the modeling and custom scenery work put into this is really something else. Well done! Fantastic editing as well

Great coaster! But what I like most are the vegetation and surrounding! Oh my god, espacially the day time scenes are fantastic, I didn´t know that´s possible to create such realistic landscapes with no limits 2. Looks like it is real! Fantastic work, furthermore the video editing is professional and stunning. Great work!

Impressive video Mike. Impressive coaster too. Really nice layout and I like the lighting at night. Didn't know NL2 was that capable with the lighting, graphically. Really cool.

The Edit is amazing!! well done, how much of my original creation did you change can i ask??
@ilyxr9 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! Updated textures across the board, fixed the alpha issues, rebuilt the dark tunnel, re-landscaped almost entirely (that's my specialty), added some lamp posts and rocks, enlarged the vertical loop, set heartline profile to standard B&M...which then broke a lot of support connections I had to fix (there's one or two that escaped my gaze), terraformed the prelift area to look more like the real ride, added the inferno lighting for the tunnel, updated the environment with my own BlueSky, added volume fog to create a more wispy look, smoothed out a few curves here and there by eye, and extended the forest to enclose the ride a bit more since I didn't want to build more of Thorpe park. Haha. And then after all of that, filmed. It was a fun project to work on, thank you so much for letting me do it!

Mike Sheets Wow a lot of effort then, the hardest part for me was getting everything to fit with the track and also i added those lights but for some weird reason this made it lag alot like i mean from 40-60 to like one xD it wasnt even play able so i had to remove it, and my tunnel was bad i knew that but at the time i didnt know you could export the track so I found it hard to fit properly, anyway thanks for the credit! and its really awesome, and I'm more than glad you did it because i hated my video :P (oh yea if your wondering why on my park i made it quite dull and foggy its was because i tryed to get it look like the uk and and before it looked too bright and over saturated(and i didnt like that it bugged me xD))

JBS Coasters Yeah, lighting is not optimized in NL2 and the night POV was CRUSHING my fps to a sad 4 to at times 0 - luckily fake lights work and that's what I ended up doing for the tunnel - using spot fake lighting (only having the 'effect' and not the actual light) and then a few low intensity omnis to color the smoke. This was a huge learning curve for me too! Thanks again and I can't wait to see what else you come up with in the program. Maybe we can do a proper collaboration sometime as honestly I don't like making the coasters themselves. I'd much rather spend time on scenery and landscape - and of course the final video.

Mike Sheets Yes i tried using the low intensity ones but it was lighting the out side area of the ride so i decided to remove those too, however i have learnt a lot after making it, i know it wasn't 100% however i hardly remember thorpe park as i live close to alton towers and i rarely go to thorpe park and its been a while since i have(its only hard with the fine details, things you wouldst normally notice), I actually start my Stealth recreation first however it felt empty and i wanted a ride with amazing scenery, my stealth recreation is just about ready i think ill change the trees to to more up to date ones and Im not sure if the que is quite right as its hard to find out what is like as there is little videos and photos, my recreations from now will most likely be better because i learnt a lot with getting the track perfect and things like that, and i guess we could do a collaboration, and i like to make the coaster actually xD sometimes the 3D models just drive me crazy, and from this and your other videos i can see editing is something your good at as your 2 most recent videos have great editing, anyway great jobs looks unbelievable!

Great coaster, but the editing was very jarring. We saw some sections more than 2 times and there were too many different filters.

Maybe it's a stylistic thing, but I didn't like the quantity of jump cuts and filters. The music worked well though, and it was edited around that well.
