For Aphelios he meant that when there is caster Aphelios version in the game he is more played by his mains. When it's auto attack based Aphelios version his mains play him less.

@@shawnburs Yes there has, when weapon rotations that favour crescendum doing sustained dps in the past over infurnum centric gameplay which is what people are shifted towards these days. I prefer auto centric Aphelios an example is season 11 think viper aphelios vs fpx lpl finals he doesn't invest much in infernum as auto attacking weapons. This is also a rune issue I believe in the past conq was stronger so you could slowly stack chackrams and doing sustained dps and same with the attack speed buff version of lethal tempo. Aphelios couldn't run the range enhancing lethal tempo effectively so you hac to go pta, fleet, and sometimes conq. Old lethal tempo and conq supported his older auto attack playstyle and have either been nerfed or removed.

The issue with this logic is that aphelios experience a gartner hype cycle, on his release he was more spell caster that is at the peak of his hype cycle then he gets hits with a ton of nerfs that push him towards auto attacks and people aren't sure whether to invest time in the champion anymore out of fear of him being gutted. I don't think the frequency of aphleios mains playing the champion is a good metric. I love both his play styles and I feel as though auto attack aphelios was far more skill expressive to me at least.

For those who didn't understand the Bounties system reffered: Now the reward will be according to your gold average compared to the enemy team, meaning that killing a 0/5 enemy (worth 100g) will not increase your value in the system, making the rewards more linear. This system solves 2 problems and creates 2 new situations: 1st problem resolved: The Bauss dying 10 times will not increase the value of the enemy TOP laner, as the reward will no longer be directly related to the number of kills in a row, meaning that if your team kills the enemy TOP laner, there will probably be no shutdown and no extra gold income. (i'm a fan of his, its just an example). 2nd problem solved: The current situation benefits junglers who farm and do full clears in the long run, because despite the advantage that your lee sin could have obtained with 2 double kills in the bot lane, if he had to skip 2 camps 2 times to be able to make those plays, he ends up being behind in experience and still having a bounty that the enemy jungler can capitalize on with the xp advantage (advantage at lvl 6 against 5 or 8 against 6). 1st situation created: This means that champions who can create an advantage from kills or clashes in the early game can take more risks to nullify their opponent without necessarily giving them a reward for failing, and since characters focused on the end of the game need to have a high farm average, they will become the priority target to capitalize on. (They basically encourage champions with high roaming and accurate ganks) 2nd situation created: Now that the bounties are more varied we will encounter a very repetitive scenario in the future, that is the cat and the mouse, or better said, the assassin and the carry. The victory condition for assassins is to neutralize the experience of carries, while champions that scale well over time will be able to easily come back with a shutdown, but will dominate the game if they are not prioritized early. Ladies and gentlemen, Kassadin is back. P.S: I may be wrong about carries, but I'm pretty sure the future system will reduce snowballing in matches WHILE making carries' lives hell.

Most of this I can agree with but I think farming jungle style will continue to dominate. If Lee Sin early ganks and Master Yi takes his entire topside in response and then full clears his own jungle he will still be in position to 1v9 the game just like in the current state of league. These changes affect laners way more than junglers.

@@Rayonnant_style Yes, I agree, the problem I mentioned was the fact that impacting one lane would not only guarantee an advantage in camps for the enemy jungler, but make your jungler have to play with care (even though he is behind) in order to not give an extra 300 g as well. So now as a jungler you are less limited to impact the game, because the bounty will show later on then nowadays.

I think the best take away that could happen for Riot with the Global Items nerf is to put the power in the mega behind the champions than the items they build, and if we want certain champions to be in certain positions, we can adjust their ratios around what their kit can do than what items they can buy that enable them to work. Like tweaking damage ratios that champs deal to monsters if they want them to function as a jungler.

I wanna know what RIot thinks of all the mini reworks and full reworks. 90% of the adjusted champs have lower play rates than pre rework once Riots nerfs them after releasing them broken. Wdym "don't see any play"? Udyr wrecks the jungle and he was reworked quite some time ago. Skarner may not be at the top of the world, but at least he is now playable and doesn't have the łame crystals. The Fiddlesticks rework was fantastic, you always struggle against the ones who main him, even if he is not that common. Volibear is the ultimate gigachad, can make any item somehow work and still beats a lot of bruisers All of these champs has more presence than the untouched Kled, the forgotten Monkey, and when was the last time you seen Nilah? Riot has been always cooking good with the reworks, starting from Warwick or something, aside from some misses like Ryze and poor Aatrox

I have said this already, multiple times... The solution for teleport is to give it 20 seconds cooldown ON DEATH, so if you die at lvl 5 and, it will be on 20s cd but you respawn on 10, so it has 10s cd only. But if you die at lvl 12, your respawn timer will be higher that the cd so you will respawn with tp available. That would make killing people with tp actually worth it

Tank item value is easily the worst in the game ATM, but that's because they don't want every class building full tank and rolling with base stats otherwise, which is what happens every time a champ has too good base numbers into good tank items. To compensate for that, tanks tend to have massive incentives within their for building tank stats to make those items viable. That's why Rookern is so oppressive against especially burst mages, when built by a tank. The current target Phreak is going on about is buffing tank item baseline, but nerfing their inbuilt fullbuild synergy to make the items better without committing full tank, while nerfing some of the fullbuild synergy, like Rookern invincibility against mages with enough MR or late game tank item burst. Mage items are the next weakest down the line, with the range focused ones/ranged modded ones at that, as not all mage items are built equal.

As an example riven items get nerfed while darius items gets nerfed as well ok fair enough, now lets add onto this the fact that darius has more durability, more base ad, Huge ad bonues with passive and true dmg on r. You can't make tank items for bruisers. What you need is to make a variety of 20-35 armor/mr items that also give 20-30 ad and a bit of HP and make them melee only. That's it. You can create 6 of them remove ddance that is an horrible shit item that you destroyed and you give 3 of the armor ones a different passive upgrade passed lvl 12 and 3 different upgrade for the mr ones so you can't rush this. Cause if a tank item is good you start seeing Rukern on adcs basically. But when you nerf Rukern you nerf the entire class of tanks while adcs can still get maw or Qss for ap threats. I like what they tried with scaling tanks items so items that synergize with you building more tank items and nothing else. But if you take Jak Sho why is the base armor and MR so high that even a vayne gets value there ? Just tune it down to 40 or even 30 heck why not but the scaling is harder for tanks cause it's a stronger multiplier on the ratio you get. So vayne gets no value but the tank does if he gets to 4 items. So being a good tank and cummulating a lot of gold by farming should lead to you being tanky. Rukern should be nerfed Force of Nature should be changed to what it was before meaning when it's stacked against burning champions you gain % reduction dmg towards ap dmg. Abyssal should probably be tuned down on the magic resiste removal. Frozen Heart should be an option against attack speed champions it should be higher price but should also be way more attack speed reducing. Hollow radiance is horrible, buff this garbage holy shit even against an ap laner i don't want to build this. Heartsteel should be 100 gold lower but also less damaging. Warmog should be a 3rd 4th item at best so at least 1,7k bonus hp and the price should also be lower. We should never see support building this. Basically they should either go abyssal, zeke, locket or randuin as first item. Change unending despair to 4 sec. Make gauntlet sheen proc dmg scale on HP and give better stats but he's going to 3k gold so you remove k'sante from pro play or at least not picked every single game without purpose beside stonewalling lanes. And probably nerf thornmail cause i'm litterally killing adcs by walking by on two items with my Ornn. Also fucking buff spectral cowl this shit is HORRIBLE for price it's at.

Black Shield blocked true dmg and had longer duration with shorter CD. These on their own don't sound all that diff but together they made for a completely different champion. Remember, preak was there. He's just lying his ass off to pretend like Morg hasn't changed, which is why he specifically talked about the Q dmg, the only part that hasn't changed.

I’m a kda gamer, so I’ve had so many matches where enemy team has all drags, grubs, herald, all 3 inhibs, all the while my whole team is negative kd, but since I’m 7/0 I’m worth a ton of gold. It feels so shit to have a bounty while actively losing. Like, it’s supposed to be a comeback mechanic. There’s also a bunch of times where both teams are more or less even, but I’m worth 1k gold because of kd, so if I die the match is auto over. I’m not too mad about it in ranked, but it makes you turbo sweat in norms to never make risky plays and end as fast as possible which is lame.

I still don’t tryhard in norms, but the bounty system punishes you too hard for dying once which feels bad and contributes to making norms a sweatfest. I think what Riot can do to fix tp is to make teleport have a longer channel time. Make it 15 seconds long early game, but goes down slightly over the game. Backing then tp'ing back to lane is a big nerf early game.

@@ASSASSIN79100 But the whole thing about teleport is that it’s used to mitigate losses in lane. Backing to fountain with low health will already take time to regain your health, and while it might not seem like much, it’s still an extra 8 seconds or so of waiting in fountain before you can use tp. I think the changes they made to death timers is already a nice change, as they also changed the home guard speed so that walking back to lane takes the same amount of time once you die as before.

Too many items have too many stats. Items need to be pulled back to 1 main stat that's 80% of the power in the item.

Just let everyone use tp like the back button and put it on a 5m CD. This way everyone can take whatever summoners they want and not lose sidelane pressure because mid/top didnt take tp so now you cannot contest either side either nash. Make it even like dota where you can BUY TP. Why isnt this a solution? Make so everyone has tp on a CD and make it so you can TP everywhere on the map not just allied structures/creeps. Is that easy. If everyone uses TP then there is no reason to nerf or buff to make it feel good or worse to play against it. If everyone has the same tools then everyone is responsible of its good or bad use.

Buffing/barely nerfing tank items and nerfing every other item sounds awful. Tanks like mundo can buy warmogs and become invincible while still doing insane amounts of damage. There is nothing more tilting then a sidelane 3-0 mundo that can’t die, and your entire team has to sacrifice the map to keep him from killing the base.

The issue is that ever since season 7 tanks haven't really been tanks. They have just been bruisers that build tank items. They aren't there to soak up damage and cc opponents. They are there to kill enemies, just the same as bruisers. They need to take damage away from tanks and give them more tankiness.

@@LordKeram That was by design btw. A very stupid design but a design nonetheless. They will never do what you are saying. I don't remember exactly when but I think at around season 4, one day rito decided & announced that tanks were impossible to balance as they were then. Thus, the slow process of ruining tanks began and never stopped. Back then tanks did way less dmg but had **much** better disables [Lasted longer/shorter CDs/etc.] & higher durability. They more or less nerfed tank disruption & durability but in exchange raised their dmg. For instance Rammus Q ball used to be faster, slowed for 3 seconds and his E (taunt) capped at 3 sec hard-disable. Anyway the quintessential example of this is Sejuani. She lost nearly all of her CC power & tons of durability in exchange for some crummy dmg & a horrible team-stacking passive. Her ult used to be an AoE 2 sec stun and her E was a follow-up to any of her abilities, including ult, that slowed for 70% for 1.5 sec. The dmg was crap but it was an insane initiation..... that's what tanks should be like in general but rito believed otherwise. G fkking G.

They are replacing one overly-complex bounty system with another overly-complex bounty system. Simplify. - Take out anything that cares about the difference between gold from kills and gold from CS (and gold from objectives, for that matter). Your bounty should be a reflection of your power level in the game compared to the other players. Nothing else. - Take out having two gold rewards for kills. Right now there is kill gold and then sometimes a bounty on top of it. The kill gold is variable and opaque. The bounty is clear to the player but hard to understand. Make it so that there is one reward only. Every player has a bounty, and that bounty is exactly the gold an enemy will get for solo-killing that player. Put every champions bounty in the UI, so you can always see exactly what your gold reward will be for killing a player. If the player is behind and the reward is 100 gold, then that's what the UI will say. If the player is far ahead, they will be worth 1000, and that's what the UI will say.

39:15 Games are already too long bro. That is the main problem of this game. Cause it takes 3 minutes to queue, then 3 minutes in champ select, then someone is dodging, then again 3 + 3 minutes, then you are autofill, then you are the one dodging, then you need to wait 5 minutes to queue, then again 3 + 3 minutes... And that is why it is that long to climb in ranked. But if games were shorter like about 20 minutes, people would care less about having their main role all the time, or having a bad match up, and there will be probably less dodging. But as it is too long to find games and to play a game, you want always to have your main role or main champ or be in the best conditions, cause you are not playing that many games each day. That is what I think

Your idea does the opposite of what you think it would, faster games means more people wanting to quit DURING the game (wasting more time then someone dodging btw and you lose lp/mmr) and more people soft inting to get out of the game faster. I would gladly wait 10-15 minutes in que (already do some days) if it meant I had 35 minute games that actually felt like I got to do something, instead of what your asking for which is 10-15 minute stomps where the games dictated by people who can effect the entire map (support and jungle). Which leaves me to believe you likely play one of those two roles since I refuse to believe anyone with a functioning brain would want even faster games.

@@Zemilia22 I think it depends how games would be if they are faster. In faster games where laning phase would be proportionally reduced it would not be more dictated by roles like sup and jungle. It would not be 15 minutes laning phase and 5 for the rest of the game. Look at URF mode (btw I am not asking for something like URF which, this is only an example). When I say I want faster games, I mean generally, I don't especially mean 10-15 minutes stomp, btw I am not a support or jungle player, I am a midlaner, that is why I am pissed about not having my main role so often, especially in normal games when I play about one game a week... Are you a toplaner btw 😂? Let me explain you why I think it is better when games are faster. Look at other games than league where you have rating systems like chess for example. In chess you can play in differents modes which have each their own ratings (like ratings in league). For example, 30-40 minutes games or 4-5 minutes games. I can tell you when you than playing 30-40 minutes chess games is clearly more annoying than 4-5 minutes ones. When you lose a long game, you are pissed, it I took time to reach you real ratings, sometimes the other player plays something you hate and you are in the game for 30 minutes, sometime the other player recognizes he is losing and then he decided not to make a single move for 20 minutes to hostage you... But when the game is faster, you don't care cause you don't really have all of these problems. You lost, ok go next. You will do better next time. You play more games each day, so you reach very easily your true ratings even though you chain lose, cause games are faster. And generally, you are very very less tilted

@@svSGRDGRG1234 Your using chess a 1v1 game to a team game, just because you check out of a game at 20 minutes doesn't mean the other 4 people on your team should also have to give up. You sound like your just not built for a game like league where the entire premise of the game is push and pull literally. You can ask just about any person in any elo above masters and they will say they prefer longer games because longer games means the better team will win 80% of the time. In faster games one fuckup literally means gg go next which is literally the korean solo que mentality that is a plague. I play mid adc and support, in slower metas mid and adc have more influence over the game. In faster games support and jungle dictate the pace and what team has a lead. Like i said already game speed also drastically influences what champions can be picked. If games become even faster you literally restrict the playable champions to 1/10th of the roster. Im not sure what rank you are but if your games are going over 30 minutes you have to be in like gold and below. If your talking about normal games then your opinion is even less important because people mess around in normals so games last way longer then they should.

I mean games where almost everyone is full build and lvl 18 at 25 minutes, not 35 minutes for example. Games would be globally faster. I don't mean that I want all games ending when players have like boots + 1.5 items... I don't want all games to be concluded at an earlier stage, I want globally faster games. I hope it is a bit clearer like that. It as nothing to do about "checking out of a game at 20 minutes while the other 4 people on your team don't want to give up"...

Games would not last 20 minutes if people hit full build at 25, because a single person getting a few kills in lane suddenly end up 1-2 items ahead and its over in 10 minutes. That is not good nor is it why people play league. You literally want to play an completely different game which nobody else wants. Phreaks reasoning for for what they do, his rationalizations for the changes, are egregious. He and the balance team dont seem to really understand what a given metric CAN actually tell you. Ultimately they are acting on something that in some cases is weaker than a correlation, it's like a one time juxtaposition of two numbers which may or may not have any impact on one another. I almost puked when he said that tank items are in their weakest state. Tanks do way too much damage, mundo one shots a full hp turret, ksante is unkillable and one shots you, tanks deal extreme amounts of damage in this game, if they had better items it would be unbearable

Mundo isn’t a tank. And ksante sacrifices tank stats for damage and literally has locked max hp for the duration. Plus ksante sucks lmao. An aatrox is far worse than both ever will be.
