I'm guessing the reason why Nemesis-Kun is mean towards Ayano is because Ayano is emotionless and doesn't feel anything around Nemesis. Nemesis probably has feelings for her, but he knows that Ayano is emotionless and likes Taro. So he uses his anger over her

I *really* wanted to use "One Summer's Day" from Sudio Ghibli's Spirited Away, but it's from Japan and their rules are a lot differrent about use. They were under EXCLUSIVE lisence, meaning I'd have to go DIRECTLY to the head and talk to them, and Ghibli has been known in the past to reject ANY use of their material, so I had to settle for Saturn by Sleeping at Last, which is still a lovely choice! Just... not my first choice, haha~
