What do you think about trying out Alpha, the master of beasts? I've played with it a bit and I've had a good bit of success with it. It has additional synergy with the deck since the nemleria monsters are beasts so you can bounce them then resummon them. It's a great going second card.

I think its a very strong card going 2nd like you said, but i generally dont like using cards that r only good going 2nd in a going first deck becuz i like my non engine cards to be useful on both turns if i can help it, just a habit :D

4:50 why didn't you use sweet dreams Nemleria to search and card and stop them from activating any effects when you summon dreaming Nemleria?

You also had game that turn if you searched realized because you can put dreaming Nemleria back into the extra and summon realized plus defenders for lethal damage

Its quite funny cuz someone asked the same question a few hrs ago in the comment so allow me to do the copy paste. Well first off, Realized was in the GY becuz i used Louve last turn so i didnt have game at all. --copy pasta-- "About nemleria protection, it was a bit greedy from my part. As soon as they dropped mercurier on reveil, i kinda figured they r out of negates and only had some pops left, so if i could help it and didnt have to use sweet dreams for that turn but saved it for next turn, i would do it. But yes u should totally use sweet dreams for safety, just in case. One thing that wasnt visible in the replay was the timer, i was super low on time and my opponent was also in the same situation (u probably guessed it based on the game state with full combo branded) so i wanted to prioritize slapping down nemleria as soon as possible then if theres anytime left i would do other things, think it was like 30 secs so my plays were definitely not optimal"

@@frozenbyicebeam ok, makes sense. I play a small dogmatika package in my Nemleria deck which works really well as well as a few floodgates (summon limit and Barrier statue of the heavens)

was there a reson not to activate sweet dreams at 4:50 ? To have summon protection for Reveil and Nem I mean. not so much the search

So, Reveil had to activate its effect first to empty the extra deck for nemleria to summon and sweet dreams cant protect it anyway (the spell only protects nemleria). About nemleria protection, it was a bit greedy from my part. @@frozenbyicebeam Thank you for the fast response. I see it was more of a feeling of safety after they used merc (usually the only negation/ handtrap branded runs anyway) and you were also pressured by time. And just so you know, Sweet dreams do protect ALL Nemleria monters summons. A move I learned with your video is to use sweet dreams to bounce nem to the extra deck while she is in the pend-scale so her restriction doesn't apply and it's WAY safer than what I used to do. I'd use Eater of m, search realized with sweet dreams, bounce the eater back to the deck and then realized eff to add nem to the extra deck. I feel kinda dumb for playing like that instead of doing it your way. But hey, you learn something everyday I guess.

@@A-G-B haha yeah, if u draw sweet dream + eater its an instant nemleria indeed. Also what i meant by sweet dreams not being able to protect reveil there was that, it only stops the opponent from responding to a nemleria summons (aka the time they hit the field) so in that case, reveil activating in the GY wont be protected but rather once it hits the field the opponent cant respond to it at that moment.

I dont think thats true, been using the deck for 2 months and branded has always been tier 1, meaning on the climb to M1, ive ran into lots of branded, the matchup is fine, "losing hard" is just inaccurate
