It's an homage to Miki "Sun-Go"' Igarashi, the guitarist from Show-Ya. Sun-Go has been a big influence and mentor to Saki and that back bend was her go to move in the 80's. I created a playlist with over 200 Nemophila related videos, that include interviews, background on the band and projects outside Nemophila if anyone is interested.
