The footage was from a livestream but the music is the studio version. The livestream was awesome. The bass was heavy during the breakdown which sounded awesome. That venue was ridiculously hot as well. Saki, the guitarist on the right of stage who has since departed the band, had to have her guitar dried of sweat with a towel by the stage crew.

Just to clarify, favorite Nemophila song....lol Of course I have a few dozen other "favorite" Nemophila songs...lol I'm glad you enjoyed it. I picked this song for you because you commented that you really liked when a vocalist did screams and clean voice mixed. Mayu is the Queen of exactly that, and is my favorite Japanese vocalist because of the grit in her "clean" voice. These girls have been dubbed the "Queens of Happy Metal" and hair flipping...lol. NEMOPHILA started out as a session band in August, 2019 and then got shut down by COVID right awy, doing a lot of really cool covers during COVID and getting ramped up to come out the other side ON FIRE! Maybe MOST IMPROVED band in the world. Right up there with Lovebites and BandMaid now. I'm presuming that the scream is a backing track of Mayu's voice. I'm always good with these types of elements added as long as they are genuine and performed by members of the band. Miyako (Lovebites), in Swan Song, does a live intro on the piano, then picks up her guitar and shreds. You can hear a backing track for the piano throughout the song while she is on guitar and then closes out back live on the piano. Another awesome song that you will get many recommendations for. Lovebites uses some orchestral music from a backing track in some of their songs, which is simply amazing and fits very well. Most of the girls in these various Japanese Female bands are 4'10" to 5'2".

@@RynnoReacts Swan Song is certainly awesome. Should be up near the top of your requests. Another that will show up at or near the top is "Hate?" (BandMaid). I won't spoil the surprise, but another with something you have never seen (at this level). The mixed vocals is what you said you like and Mayu is one of the best at it. She uses it a lot. You will never see mixed vocals in BandMaid or Lovebites. The other reason I chose A-Ma-Te-Ras is because there are at least 3 surprises you don't expect, and the song is one of the most unique songs I've ever heard. I hated metal until I discovered Lovebites (and Nemophila) and hated screaming until I discovered Mayu. How interested are you in drummers. Do you know JUNNA? I will put in a recommendation for JUNNA if you want. I don't want to hog up your recommendations...lol Let everyone else get a shot. She is the most unknown, well known drummer. I call her the MOST ENTERTAINING drummer in the world. You will get a lot of recommendations for these also. For the most awesome drum solo you ever saw BandMaid "Freedom". Akane gets after it and is having the time of her life. The talent pool of Japanese Fmales runs deep...to the core of the earth!

Also my favourite Nemo song, other than possibly Hypnosis. Nice choice! Rynno's comment on liking a mix of clean and unclean is also why I jumped in with the BBTS request. So I think we know what he's in for now :D Haraguchi-San always gets me with the head banging and smiles. She is always having so much fun!

@@taihavard Indeed! TY! Always 10 or more songs in my Top 3...lol New reactors are simply speechless the first time they first watch Nemo, BandMaid or Lovebites songs. Always the same response. "WTF did I just watch", "Where has this band been my whole life, have I bee living under a rock", "I think I have a new all time favorite (band/song - until they watch the next one and it changes again), It never gets old watching the new guys...lol Yes, love Haraguchi-San's smiles, but Tamu is right there with her. The girls love flipping the hair a well.

Great reaction, I’m glad you enjoyed the song. Though a fairly new band NEMOPHILA is easily in my top 10 favorite bands, I love seeing them gain new fans. I can’t wait for their new album.

Nemophila is one of my favorite groups, saw them at there first American tour at The Whiskey!! Their album Revive is so awesome!! Every song is on point!

Amazing band. Seen them live and they kick ass. this is studio over the livestream recording. The live is just as good. Some other great ones from them are Oiran live the newest one from about a year ago ,Dissension, Revive, RAITEI some good duel guitar solos in those. Zen Live is heavy as hell and she growls and screams through the whole song. Their newest song released on Christmas is called Brainwash. It is brutal. Their most heaviest song. They do some ballads too that kick ass. Very diverse band

Not the 2 that I would've started with, but at least you're on the right track. These are their fun and somewhat tame tracks. "Dissension" is probably the best starting point and then I'd suggest "Revive" live. And if you wanna have your face melted off, go straight to "Zen" live

I've seen them live twice and they were fantasticl. Another super talented all-female Japanese band. I've seen Lovebites, Band-Maid, Hanabie anf of course Nemophila and they are all super tight live.

There is a cool connection with Lovebites. Lovebites guitarist, Miyako, likes to go fishing on her down time. Well, about a year ago Miyako went fishing for sea bass with Nemophila's singer, Mayu.

As @yakidin63 stated, the video was live performance with studio audio. I have the Blu-ray of the live performance and it is EXCELLENT. If you want full live performances check out the newest live versions of 'Rise', 'Revive', 'Oiran' and 'Zen' ...they are all great.
