I know it's my opinion, and it's worth exactly what you paid for it, but these ladies are the greatest export ever from Japan. Absolutely amazing band. No other compares for me, on either side of the ocean. Completely entranced by Nemophila and everything they do. How they don't yet rule the world is beyond me. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

They are awesome for sure! Have to throw BandMaid and Lovebites into that mix though. All 3 are my favorites. Three of the best bands in the world that not enough people know about!. Nemophila has come from no where to the top in 4 years!

@@dejzmi7089 I helped Wave Potter take his channel from 3-4K subs to 100K over 2.5 yrs. It all started with my introduction to him of BandMaid and YOYOKA. We both put in a lot of time....lol YOYOKA visited him at his house in Wisconsin and jammed with him. He still hasn't gotten over it.

Mayu - Vocals (and dancing :D) Tamu - Drums (and smiling) Haraguchi San - Bass (and smiling + funky head banging) Hazuki - Lead guitar (and pretending to be a librarian) Saki - Lead Guitar (and not being in Nemophila anymore) Wont suggest more Nemophila as myself and others did plenty of that on the G.O.D reaction. So instead, a teaser :D Lovebites Asami - Vocals (and ballet or piano sometimes) Haruna - Drums (and playing at 1000 miles an hour for 90 minute sets whilst looking like she's not trying) Miho - Bass (headbanging, killing it on bass, and not being in Lovebites anymore) Fami - Bass (slapping, poppin, tapping and all the other Bass things, ridiculously well) Midori - Lead / Rhythm Guitar (and looking like a shredded bad ass whilst shredding + bodybuilder competitions sometimes) Miyako - Lead / Rhythm Guitar (and a lot of the composition, and like REALLY playing the piano, and occasionally looking bored even though she isn't!, and shredding obviously)

Like Band Maid slides in and out of different Rock styles with such a wide variety of sounds they play... Nemophila portray that same variety throughout the Heavy Metal/Metal Core spectrum of sound.

One of my favorite MVs of theirs. When they formed the band, they wanted to focus on "Rock Fashion", as well as their music, of course. So you will notice, they rarely wear the same thing, unlike BandMaid and Lovebites. I love the costumes of BM and LB just as much as Nemophila's fashion show. They always nail the fashion aspect 100%,as you can see. You will also see that these girls are the queens of hair flipping.

@@dejzmi7089 Of course, thanks for the reaction! Basically Nemophila, BandMaid and Lovebites will keep surprising you. They really don't have any bad songs. I always say that my favorite song for each of these bands is {insert the name of their release here}. Rarely not the case. You will find that the Japanese females pretty much across the board, all support each other, are all friends with each other, and never stop trying to hit harder the next time. Something you will hear them say is "Thank you. We will try harder next time." Then they do. Thanks again.

@@dejzmi7089 Indeed! When you said awesome humans, reminded me of my girl YOYOKA. She is often referred to in that way. Voted one of the top 100 Most Respected Japanese In The World at age 11 (I think it was). YOYOKA is actually friends with the Drummer of Nemophila, Murata Tamu. They judged a drumming competition together, and did a drum duo a few years ago. If you're into drummers, let me know. YOYOKA is a Japanese drummer turning 15 in a few weeks. Releasing her first full album of original songs at the Bourbon Room in Hollywood. Was added to DrummerWorld's Top 500 Drummers OF ALL TIME at age 11! She has more accomplishments than 90% of all adult musicians. Played live on stage with Cyndi Lauper and Fallout Boy (separately) at age 10! Been playing on stage since 4 y.o. She lives in Los Angeles now. I would say by now she's definitely Top 100 in the world. She stayed at my home in Las Vegas 3 times a few years ago.

I love that you react to the MV and the live version of a song. It makes for a (doubly) interesting watch for us. There are lots more songs from Nemophila and Band-Maid to provide you with stunned and jaw-dropping moments but I hope you have some time spare to check out Lovebites too (yes, they are 5 female, Japanese, unfeasibly skilled musicians - how did you guess?!). Japan is the treasure chest that just keeps giving!

Title track to their first album released in 2021. G.O.D. is the first song as a 4 piece, here you see them as the 5 piece they were for the 1st 5 years and 3 albums ,with now former member Saki on the right side of the screen. Hazuki and Saki's duel guitar solos are now going to Hariguchi-san's bass with Hazuki on solos. Love Mayu's screams, just as good live, and easily transitioning between vocal styles. Also from that debut album, check out "Oiran" (their 1st ever single) , and "Dissension" ( a common first reaction Nemo song). Speaking of easily transitioning, have you ever heard of the band Jinjer, if not try "Pisces" (live session).

Nemophila - "baby blue eyes" flower, "Rurikarakusa" in Japanese; grows in N-America and is appreciated in Japan (see "Hitachi Seaside Park"). The band was formed in 2019, originally as a "session" brought together by... Mayu - the vocalist (ex- Lipstick band); Haraguchi-san - (ex- HöLDERLINS band) bass, backing vocals, was Mayu's friend and colleague from Music College; Tamu Murata - drums, backing vocals, one the most respected session musician in Japan (countless bands), with also her own original carrier; she's also the wife of Akira Yamaoka, musician/composer, known especially for his videogames OSTs, in particular for "Silent Hill"; Saki (ex - "Mary's Blood" band for a decade, "Destrose", and others), she's a "young sacred monster" in J-metal) guitar, backing vocals, and... Hazuki (KOIAI "Dark Indigo" / Li-sa-X, Disqualia bands) - guitar, backing vocals; both, Saki and Hazuki have a lot of experience. Unfortunately, Saki left the band in march 2024, after the Budokan concert, thinking that her contribution was enough after more than 4-5 years, pursuing her - successful - solo carrier. The band continues in the 4 members form, with Mayu starting to add guitar bits while Haraguchi-san's bass, and Hazuki's guitar becomes more prominent. Nemophila is a great Japanese metal band. I suggest you listen to Hanabie, then Hagane with the song tenka goken and the song time. Finally to close with the best metal band, Lovebites live, choose any song. Ty.
