There are two sides to this argument. 1 - That it is disrespectful to the band. It may be so, but they can always ask for my videos to be privatized or inform the venue and fans of their no camera policy. I will respect their wishes either way. 2 - That it is disrespectful to the people behind and around you. I agree, which is why I keep my phone at such a low and generally suboptimal level. When people complain about phone recordings what they really mean are the people who hold their phones at face level or higher. I compensate by zooming and tilting my phone upwards even if it feels a bit uncomfortable on the wrists.

@@riuga It was not intended as a personal criticism. It's just really bad to see the quantity of mobile phone junkies in the audience, there. These girls have travelled and Japanese bands rarely do tthat. They also get to see static Japanese audiences all the time, I'm sure that they would like to see some proper mayhem llike they hear that European and US metal fans usually give the bands - this will be an anti-climax

@@Rowlph8888 Ah I see what you mean. The people who just stand still and record like dead fish. Yea, I still try to headbang and go all out enjoying the performance, video quality be damned as you can probably tell lol. I might do a quick zoom adjustment during a solo or lull, that's about it.

I'm not sure if it's right for me to add in here. But I just watched another fancam for this particular concert. There was one incident where Saki actually took that particular cam and focused the recording on Haraguchi-san when she did her short solo segment. So from that, I think they actually loved it that the audience took videos of them. You can actually see it from this video too! Time stamp 7:47 mins

So another perspective as a fan of another band (The Warning) with a lot of fan cams -- it helps spread their music. There are some people with outboard mics on high end phones who capture great sound and video and travel a lot, and everyone eagerly looks forward to their videos. I was at a concert maybe 10' behind someone with that kind of a rig on a pole; it didn't bother me one bit, and it resulted in a great memory). Nemophila looks like another great live band too, and this attracts new fans.
