Nemsa Mules - From Source to Sea

In this short video we follow the stratified farming system as follows the River Eden in Cumbria from its source at Mallerstang to the green meadows near to Carlisle. The story starts in the hills with the farmer who breeds his own Swaledale Sheep with a view to cross some with the Blue Faced Leicester Ram to produce the Nemsa Mule. On the next farm we meet a family who breeds Nemsa mules from Swaledale Drafts in the Eden Valley and finally we meet a couple who buy Nemsa Mule Ewes to run alongside their Dairy business.
