Let's all be honest: MW is the best CoD we've had since BO2 (although in my opinion, since MW3 - I liked the MW series better and MW3 is my all-time fave, tied with MW2019). It's beautiful, plays wonderfully, has a SICK campaign and it revamped the gameplay to a whole new level of smoothness. Also, it gave birth to Warzone, which love it or hate it, is a pretty good BR game (I don't like BR games that much, but I recognize a job well done).

Modern warfare was my first cod game, so I didn’t really know what old code were like and how people liked to play. I loved the game, the realism, guns, scenery and mostly everything about it. I go cold war because my friends got it and it was my seconds Cod and I didn’t really know if it was classified as even good. I quit Cold War 2 months later and started playing modern again, best game ever, still. When I heard Vangurad was gonna be on the Modernn warfare engine, I was excited because the modern warfare engine was amazing. I got vanguard and was a little skeptical, I played and liked it, but it just didn’t feel the same. Modern warfare had the best realism and was modern day. Modern warfare is quite still the best game I’ve ever played.

I literally started playing modern warfare to get damascus. I got dm ultra a month ago and I was intending to get atomic and then go back and get damascus. Vanguard really sucks currently and it’s needs to be fixed. Modern warfare is more fun to me than vanguard. Vanguard just has way too many problems right now with the bugged challenges, overpowered attachments, and the maps are honestly just as bad as MW’s.

I think I prefer vanguard over mw2019’s, I’m going to be real, 80% of the maps on mw2019 were not my cup of tea, and let me tell you, Idc how good those graphics and gameplay are, if I hate most to all of the maps, I’m not going to enjoy the game, the maps in vanguard are better, plus the old waw maps added on that I loved played back in 2008, there’s less camping due to ghost requiring you to move in vanguard, campaign for vanguard was ok, I’m not one for campaigns that are just stories told from each person, but overall I just think mw2019 went for too much realism that it kinda took the fun out of the game for me, vanguard has the same movement system as mw2019 which is realistic but atleast they focused on having more fun in the game, my opinion though, I don’t want realism, I just want good maps, low to no camping at all, and good game mechanics and vanguard gave me that

Love or hate MW (or love _and_ hate MW in my case) nobody can deny the absolute revolution it caused for CoD. CoD was in a state of despair and honestly wouldn't have survived for much longer had MW not come out. Its far from perfect and introduced some very controversial things, sure, but the strides it made to improve the series and take it to a new standard of gameplay and graphics is incredible.
