Rebirth Island is better than Warzone 2

Look, I still really like Warzone 2. It's fun, but there's definitely a lot of problems which make it so I can't play more than a handful of games without getting upset or I start to think of playing something else. Not only is the map laughably massive, but they removed features that were added in WZ1 and readily availible in previous titles, and for whatever reason DIDN't launch Warzone 2.0 with these features. The ability to see how many plates, killstreaks, equipment etc your squad was holding in the bottom left, ability to buy loadouts, unlimited stock of items at buystations, the ability to manually toggle the gas mask on and off with a button, redeploy balloons, 1v1 gulag, and more. It's wild the steps BACK we've taken in this amount of time.... I'm praying things gets better but it's looking like it'll be a long time till Warzone 2 is at a polished and "smooth sailing" state. Thoughts? (also, I am in favor of the slide cancel nerf, what I don't like is how they ALSO removed sprinting while plating, bunny hopping, made aiming while jumping SLOW AS A SNAIL... i would've really liked if they ONLY removed slide cancelling and kept the other advanced movement mechanics to keep some sort of skill gap...)

Ngl, wz2 just feels too different. Yes, difference is good, but, we've had this for 3 years and now it's kind of hard changing to something like wz2. I gotta say, I miss mw2019 and wz1.

also the last victory is a clutch i'm very proud of. there's a lot of banger clips in here I just never got around to editing them and putting them out because Rebirth content never did amazing on the channel, but now that it's gone and the end of the year is closing in, i thought i'd share these moments to reminisce on how good we had it with WZ1 :')

Number 1 problem with warzone 2 is how inconsistent the guns are. Seems like sometimes the damage is cranked all the way up or they don’t do enough.

Oh yes, especially pistols and fists, but I hate the "picking up items" part the most. You know what I mean if you have more than 1 dead body nearby in tight corridors or a staircase

well, yes, but at least there's a better gun balancing situation. in warzone 1 everytime will pop up a broken meta gun that everyone will use and then will be heavily nerfed like most of the guns. while in warzone 2 there is no meta yet and I'm very happy about it

Re: the map size, I think they were just strapped for dev time or lazy and didn’t want to make a version for both WZ and DMZ. The map feels like they tried to find a balance between the modes, which makes it mediocre at best in both. I don’t even play WZ anymore thanks to the other changes though.

It's a shame most of the improvements (like you mentioned manual gasmask, baloons and UI) weren't transferred. But I don't miss how broken VG smgs were with 10 attachment slots and little to no penalties to movement/ADS/hipfire, compared to MW19 smgs (Cold War integration had its problems, but much more balanced than Vanguard) I also don't miss people 20m stim sliding like a racecar. I just hope there will be someone at the dev team to recognize what made MW19 era Warzone so good and push for a healthy balance of new and old.

So many good memories with my boy on rebirth and verdansk. VG integration high key ruined everything imo

The fact that you can do stuff like this makes WZ1 so much more dynamic than WZ2. Hopefully WZ2 will get better with time, and as Raven takes back over, but for now, I only really touch it if I have a full party of 4 because playing with friends will make any game a bit better.

I could live with the cold war integration on OG verdansk like season 1! But the vanguard integration and caldera was just🤮still was cool with it because at least rebirth and keep was still there. I can understand your opinion Nemsk, I respect it. Warzone 2 definitely had alot of problems, but Rebirth was truly something else. When I first see some youtubers play on it, I just kinda feel that excitement, and also felt quite nostalgic at the same time. I remember watching you playing on Rebirth, literally destroying these players, it was alot of fun. Hope you doing well Nemsk, its been awhile since I've commented on your videos. I don’t think it’s an issue with moving on to something different. I was a big fan of Blackout and when I moved over to Warzone playing on Verdansk, I fell in love with it fast. I’m not gonna have that feeling with Warzone 2. The map is too big. Not a lot of gunfights. Getting hits on people doesn’t feel as accurate. It gets boring

all i want them to add back into warzone2022 is is the camera recoil, sure the new one is realistic but its so much worse in gameplay, also want them to remove the crazy muzzle flash but that aint the main problem. the gun is just too shaky (ADS) when shootin, also theres too much sounds that arent needed, and you dont hear steps, no proper settings for volumes, and too much visual stuff going on too.

I was pretty much a ground war only player back to MW1 and I really had fun, but the new ground war in MW2 is more like a cheap copy of battlefield games to me, it's ridiculously massive, messy in everywhere and a shit ton of campers on the roofs. I doubt if the developers have ever tried both games since ANYONE with sanity would find that MW2 is a downgrade version of MW1, besides graphics and animation.
