PC building just looks difficult, I had the same thought too before I built my very first gaming pc (also upgraded the pc down the road). The way that I look at PC building now is just like putting together a simple puzzle, Most of the stuff goes to specific places and most components have easy to follow instruction books that come with them. I did have a hiccup when I upgraded my cpu, my motherboard failed to find my samsung SSD with the installed windows 10, but a quick search on google showed that all I had to do was toggle a setting in Bios just to have my SSD show up. If and when you do build a new gaming pc, don't be afraid to follow along to a tutorial. Just remember to double check that you have all the necessary stuff (including a windows usb stick).

It's actually very easy to build a computer if you follow instructions; looks like you did a good job to me. I was trained at a vocational school and by my great-grandpa, and I still ended up SO nervous on my first build. It surprised me the first time how hard you have to press the LGA sockets to close it. Nice components, but you definitely already had a huge amount to spend. Just be careful when working with a power supply in a case; static or not being grounded to the case can be dangerous. (As you could imagine, hooking yourself up to a live high-voltage battery isn't good for your health!)

OpenRGB is a good open-source RGB sync utility. It detects all devices from as many different manufacturers that the dev team and contributors can find, and if something you have isn't in the list you can easily add it yourself or find a plugin that installs it for you. It doesn't control fan speeds (at least not that I know of) but you can do music and game audio to RGB sync with it as well. Hope this helped. Good luck and have fun.

Great build, but to take full advantage of your amazing gpu, I’d get a better monitor - at least a 1440p one with 160hz refresh rate (which usually start at around 300 usd), but if money isn’t an issue, a 4k monitor with 144hz+ could run AAA titles at 60+fps at high settings with no problem, but they of course come at a big premium (500+ usd)
@sksz332 жыл бұрын
@Wxlfy 星 naa, 1440p 100% imo. I was playing genshin maxed out at 1080p on a gtx 970 till not so long ago lol
@sksz332 жыл бұрын
@Wxlfy 星 about what? I’m saying no reason to go 1080p with a 3070ti. My old 970 could run maxed out genshin in 1080p so a 3070ti def can run it maxed out at 1440p. 240hz means very lttle, fps is capped at 60fp but it’s not like it wouldn’t run much higher even in 1440p if it could. Going 1080p makes sense if you’re a very competitive fps player or if you wanna save some money. I mean I suppose there’s some games where the 3070ti is in a middle spot, but for genshin you absolutely wanna go 1440p, it’s a very light and not demanding game on pc.

@Wxlfy 星 if you willing to get ban maybe? better not mod much the files when it comes to Genshin. Beyond 60fps for Genshin just not worth it, other games maybe. better get 1440p or 4k Monitor or 4K LG oled tv~ which I'm doing :)
@gusthegoose22582 жыл бұрын
@Wxlfy 星 I don’t see the reason for such a high refresh rate. I’d much prefer a 1440p 165hz monitor compared to a 1080p 240hz, but if you’re playing super competitively then maybe.

A little advise for your beast. Sometimes Ram requires manual switch via bios in order to work as it supposed to. Let’s say you have 3200 mhz Ram, so it should make all those 3200 mhz.⚡️ So, sometimes you need to go into Bios and simply switch the speed of your Ram to what it should be in order it to work properly. And congratulation with your new build ✌🏼

Excellent for a first build! I have some insight that I hope might help (this is the first I see from you, so I don't know your level): -I hope the i5 you chose doesn't cause a bottleneck with the RTX 3070Ti. -You want to match you RAM with your other core components, so it would be a good idea to put some more GBs if you can, but 16 will probably do it if you can't. IMPORTANT: if you put more RAM in, make sure the speed is the same! -M.2 NVMe storage for the system and games and SATA options for other storage uses is always the best option. That is all, this all also depends on what games you want to play, I assumed by the GPU you chose that you, at least occasionally, play AAA games. Enjoy your build!

@@ZannahRose yeah. Imagine spending the money to build your own PC just to have to replace everything within a few years.
@vacationbonerschool2 жыл бұрын
@@_____________a_a You wouldn't have to replace everything though you airhead, it'll just be the graphics card and processor, but even then it's optional. This PC setup will be able to run games on decent settings for at least another 10 years before it requires an upgrade

You shouldn’t put stencils on the fans cause it will affect airflow and may damage your pc, overall nice build
@venvilph67992 жыл бұрын
Yep I agree with that decision, having stencils on intake fans would definitely increase the temperature and might damage your CPU and GPU..

I don’t get why people who clearly didn’t watch the video are being annoying abt building a high spec PC “just for Genshin” (or watched but are unable to read) but anyways, this is incredibly cute and if I ever decide to build one you surely gave me the courage that it’s possible for an amateur to do it and well :)
