Hi there! Thanks for the concern, the worst experience I've had late at night was a guy thinking I was a sex worker. I hope that that'll stay my worst experience LOL Thanks for watching the video and have a great day! -Vishal

Thanks for the nice video, is this a normal Saturday night in parbo or was there some festivity happening?🎊🎉🎗

Hi Frank! This was a friday actually and there just so happened to be a cookout happening at independence square that night (they sadly were done when I got there though) and that's kinda what made it get even more crowded than usual, especially since the roads were blocked causing traffic jams. Weekends and end of the months are usually like this, though maybe 50% less crowded.

Hi Paulo! I can already tell you that you'll enjoy your time here in Paramaribo, especially if you like taking walks and well.... If you love food! Haha I'd be happy to be your guide here, but I think you'll have an even better time with a professional guide. The only tour guide I ever had that and that taught me about the history of my country was Mr. Desmond from "Desmond Daytrips". It's a no-brainer to recommend him and since it sounds like it'll be your first time here, you might as well make it a good one with a proper guide. My tip: if you'll choose for Desmond, ask him to bring you to the central marketplace here. There's lots of varieties of foods there and just the overall vibe there is still the same "busy, but cool" one from when i was a kid going there with my dad. You can see some cool photos of his trips on his Facebook page. Have a great weekend! -Vishal Check out his Facebook page here and tell him i sent you 😇: facebook.com/desmonddaytrips.
