Knowing what Nene was going through the last couple of seasons she was on the show really explains why she was so short with the girls. She was literally watching her husband die. Being the caregiver for someone with Cancer is rough. RHOA isn’t the same without Nene love or hate her Nene kept the girls on their toes. She’s the only one that could go against the whole cast and hold her own lol

I always loved Nene and felt for her about Greg because I was going through the same thing with my husband. A couple of things she did didn't sit right with me. She couldn’t be his caregiver while still going away with the other women, so don’t give her that title. She made Greg’s diagnosis about herself when she should have put herself last and made it about him. She should not have filmed that season to stay home with her husband, who needed her most at a difficult and scary time in his life. When my husband was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer, and I was privately given his prognosis, nothing else mattered to me; as his wife, I knew I had to stay strong for him and our kids. We both knew he needed to try anything that could extend his lifespan, but sadly, they had no effect. After his initial diagnosis, he only made it three months before he passed away. During his time at home, I was his only caregiver because I knew I was the person to take the best care of him, and he was my only focus. Sometimes, I couldn't shower for a few days, but I didn't care.
