Nene Leakes Sugests That Kandi Burruss is Blocking Her From Getting a Spinoff Show

In a youtube live video, Leakes shared with the world how "a certain person" continues to get spinoffs while the rest of the ladies don't, and how she feels she is being blocked by that "certain someone". Well Kandi Burruss is the only one who has had multiple spinoffs, so it's no secret that she is talking about her. Kandi addressed Nene in an IG post, and the back and forth began. Here are my thoughts.

This is very common with NeNe. She always throw the people under the bus who be there for her. It was Cynthia, Porsha now Kandi AGAIN!! What's even more messed up is Kandi is the one on the RHOA show who was helping NENE try and mend fences with the other ladies. The ladies on the cast didn't want anything to do with NeNe. It was Kandi who was staying to be her friend. I knew some mess was gonna prevail with NeNe because as soon as NeNe got back in cahoots with the other ladies she's up to her same B.S. with the Diva behavior. That's why NeNe will never be back on top because hates on the people who are suppose to be her friends(Cynthia, Porsha, Eva, Kandi). She blocks her own blessings

I didn't understand it that Nene was stating specifically Kandi was blocking Nene's opportunity. I understood it that Nene was blaming the network for blocking her because she felt her [Nene] having her own show would be a threat to RHOA. To me, Nene's approach is about fairness versus it being about hating on other Housewives. Its about watchability. Kandi and her family has shown that they are willing to be open and Kandi and allow the cameras into their personal space. Nene, on the other hand, is about stunts and shows. She lost what people initially liked about her, her realness, after season 1 and 2. Once she get solidified as the star of the show, she believed her own hype and thought she was too big for the show. The folks who write the checks and sell the ads know that the phony, superficial stuff only goes but so far with an audience. Nene had a wedding special that as still stunts and shows because you could sense that most of her own wedding party were not her real friends. Want a spinoff, call Mona Scott Young and have her script something for you.
