I remember playing this for the first time 20 years ago in first or second grade. At first I struggled to hit the ball and could barely win a point in level 1, but eventually I was able to win the match in level 5. I've always had a short temper though and I would often hit the joystick on the floor and yell at the TV set if I lost and I was really pissed that the game didn't allow me to go to the umpire and take it on him with my racquet. :lol:

This game was often used along with Super Mario Bros. to unlock random glitched worlds in the latter. What you did was insert Super Mario first, let the game breeze by a bit, then unload that game without turning the power off, load in Tennis, then play that game for a few, and then remove that game (again, leaving the power on) and re-insert Super Mario, and press A+Start on the title screen.

good moves. But u haven't mastered the hitting. U have to time your button pressing to navigate the ball. Earlier to place it left, later to place it right. The more earlier u press the button,the more left corner the ball will be. Vice versa. U keep placing your fast ball to where the opponent are standing..
