Neo Foundation Matte vs Neo Cushion Matte (25N): LANEIGE 8hr Wear + Mask-Transfer Test

I'm trying out #LANEIGE's Neo Foundation Matte versus Neo Cushion Matte on different sides of my face. It's up to you to guess which one wins in the end!
#NeoFoundationMatte boasts 48hr wear, a texture-blurring finish, no oxidation for 24hrs, and protection against pollutant particles. I'm not about to test it for 48hrs but 8 should be sufficient for you to know if most of the claims hold true.
Can it hold up against my favorite matte cushion, Neo Cushion Matte? We'll find out!

I think it's because of the sunscreen that's why the cushion produces more oil than the foundation❤️ this is a great comparison video helped me out what shade to order hehe tysm!🫶

And such elegant packaging too ✨Welcome back Candice dear!! 💖💖💖Glad that work's been good for you, in these times I can say without a doubt that having a steady stream of work is truly something to be thankful for. I work in the games and animation industry myself so am happy that there's been an increase in demand for media content over the last few years due to people staying at home more. Being head of marketing at a games company sounds really hectic but also interesting. All the best with your new company 💪 Rather surprised that the foundation is significantly more matte, but I suppose that's a good incentive to purchase it even if you already have the cushion. So the cushion runs a little lighter than the foundation...something to take note of. Great review as always! Think I'll get em both at some point..currently obsessed with double wear 😁 And still using up my old Laneige bb cushion (gotta finish it up!)

Thanks Susie!! The LANEIGE 25N for the cushion is round about a MAC NC20 to light side of NC25. The bottle foundation in 25N is closer to an NC25-30. So you may want to pick 23N in the bottle foundation if you are closer to that NC20-25ish tone, cos the shade difference is more noticeable in real life than on camera!

Thank you for sharing this insightful review - I'll be sticking to my fav Neo Cushion Matte, it's amazing and photographs beautifully (I used it for my wedding). Am looking forward to your video about the Neo Foundation Glow (if you do get it in the end ^^) Wearing face masks has been making me steer clear of glowy foundations due to the messy transfers onto the mask :(

Yeah I've been reaching more for the matte or transfer-resistant stuff as well; I don't really mind things transfering on the mask but I am paranoid about streaks or patchiness on my face after makeup comes off hahahaha.

Cushion matte release out moisture from the body it means your face is not going dry by keeping the makeup for more time. I think it's not disturbing the natural moisture of the skin. So it's safe to use👍

Hi could I ask what is your foundation shade based on Mac's studio fix fluid foundation? I'm not sure if n25 will be too light or just nice for me!

Hi Xuanzzz, I'm NC20 for Studio Fix as that formula deepens/oxidizes more than some of the others. I use NC25 for Studiosculpt and some of the other formulas that don't oxidize as much. It's probably safest to go to a SEPHORA or MAC counter to ask for a swatch as they may be a bit inconsistent from formula to formula!
