Love how Neku isn´t only more open to people and an all around likeable person going from TWEWY to Neo, but also becomes someone that people can always rely on and a sort of mentor to the Wicked twisters with his knowledge of the UG and psychs. @@littenfire3563 it's the context. Everything is canon in Kingdom Hearts. In Kingdom Hearts DDD Sora met Neku. Neku and Sora agreed to be friends again in Shibuya. Sora goes to find his friend Cloud to help him fight Sephiroth. Which leads him into Smash. Where one of the stages is a metaverse of Shibuya for Persona 5's Joker. Which Sora then ends up in Quadratum. Another world that looks like Shibuya. Meaning he's slowing working back to meeting Neku. On Neku's end, the Twewy gang all seem to copying people the miss such as Beat trying to (subconsciously) imitate Neku, now Neku (subconsciously) imitates Sora. Both their stories sync perfectly. Of course this is probably Just a fan theory on the Twewy side of things this is definitely going to be relevant in Kingdom Hearts 4.

I like how his coarse and manly voices not only indicates the character progression into maturity, but the fact the Neku is not purely a goody two-shoes either. He is kind and supportive when he needs to, but he is straight up brutal and violent in combat, and the fact he does not sugar coat things, if he is not happy, he is not happy, boom.
