I knew Lorcana was doomed when Geoff Wilson said it would be bigger than Pokemin.

At the very least it's about a 4x better investment than Will Grier. 🤣🤣🤣

Disney/Ravensburger will put out their own client (likely hiring the Pixelborn guy). Arena is a perfect example of monetization that MTG players don’t necessarily mind. If anything the prices of cards are going to go up, as most of these Pixelborn players will increase the demand. Any of them who won’t make the jump to physical cards likely didn’t own cards and won’t….so no money lost.

Disney is now into gambling. They own espn bet. My local sportsbook changed to it. Disney is not what it was when I was a kid in the 70s. Lol. Card industry doesn't respect the card consumers no matter what the cards or popularity

Unless Disney/Ravensburger has an official online server similar to Pixelborn that will be released... Disney Lorcana will fail!
@charliecruz56403 ай бұрын
theyll now release a online Game and make you pay to play what was already free lol screw this. Pixelborn dies, and now lorcana dies. my advice, SELL YOUR CRAP NOW.
@takewalk3 ай бұрын
You keep says ng Disney. Disney has nothing to do with this game except licensing and approvals. Ravensburger would have to develop the online client. And get approval from Disney. Disney is just protecting their license and doesn't care if lorcana lives or dies.

Good job disney, now I’m gonna resell my set4 boxes.

I would pay a subscription to play just to practice and theory craft decks.

Bad move from Disney imo. Lorcana is not so famous to just throw Pixelborn away

Pixel borne kept the game alive for all the people that couldn't get product for the first two sets cause they ran out of product.. now that dis and Rav has figured it out and have cards to sell... they killed it. It was the crutch they needed. But yeah for smaller towns and lack of competitive players
@randomrips21124 ай бұрын
Do I sense an official online game coming? I would lay money on it. Probably even free to play... with limited deck. micro-transactions to buy e-packs to actually be competitive. Like you said, they SHOULD have had it ready to come out as soon as Pixelborn was shut down. Definitely a bad move by the mouse, certainly not their first!

Would love to see something like what Pokemon has, their online app sorta is clunky but is great from set collecting and playing online.

Lorcana will do just fine their events are selling out in record time and they have had great set champs in April. On top of that they had to protect their ip. If they didn’t they risk losing it
@josephandrees53814 ай бұрын
This was because Pixelborn allowed those players to prepare for events. Without the ability to test for big events, turnout for those events will slow
@johnjohn19854 ай бұрын
That is necause people used Pixelborn to test for the championships.
@thomasvotaw94344 ай бұрын
People played big events for all other games long before online clients existed. Not worried about players not going the events this year.
