The NeoLucida is not only for art studios and classrooms. It is also in museums worldwide! Some museums acquired NeoLucida as a vital addition to their design collection, and some actively use it for educational purposes.
The Musée de Art et Histoire (Museum of Art and History) in Geneva, Switzerland, is using NeoLucida to give visitors first-hand experience drawing with a camera lucida. The exhibition “De Bleu, De Blanc, De Rouge” (“Blue, White, Red”) explores techniques and materials used by 19th-century French painters. The displays contain different tools, including many vintage camera lucidas. NeoLucidas set up in the gallery allow visitors to connect with these painters from the past by making their own drawings alongside 150-year old works of art.
Many thanks to Victor Lopes and Philippa Kundig of the Musée de Art et Histoire for including NeoLucida in this extraordinary exhibition.
