Jury is still out! I have the pros and cons so far in the description. I did love the painting under blacklight at the end! This was more to test ot the paints, not for composition of the piece. Next will be a Dutch pour comparison of both artist loft and arteza I think.

MOLLY'S ARTISTRY I did a ring pour with the pastel looking paints first and then I did 4 Dutch pours with them but I used my own Floetrol mix for the base coat because, as you know, there isn’t enough white to cover a 12x24 canvas in the box.

I've just completed an Arteza order and one with LOLIVEFE from your links. I've watched your videos, as well as the other popular pour art ladies, for months. I am a self taught acrylic artist, a silk floral designer, crafts guru, USAF widow & I've been paralyzed for 16 yrs from the chest down. Im beginning pour painting artistry, since my hands and arms still work, although paralysis and weakness begins at armpit level down to my toes. I doubt I can do large canvases but I'm going for the small and medium sizes. By doing so, the ability of creating pretty things for people's homes and events, which I enjoy, blesses me to be able to put a smile on other's faces. Although full function never returned 100% in my hands and arms, thus making life challenging and my ability to complete projects slower, all items I create are original pieces, which makes paint pouring & resin art a good fit for me on not so painful days. Some of my customers are so happy with their orders, they end up crying. I'd love your advice and instructions on how to set up a utube channel, do videos and setup accounts with those you have listed. I have 2 caregivers willing to help me stay productive and all advise me to get set up with my own website and so on. Would you please do a business type advisory video for us older folks, who are not internet savvy? I'm in no way trying to become your competition and need to learn online business tips the right way with the links most artists are listed with. I consider you one of the pour paint pros because you're great at pour painting, educated in chemistry as a pharmacist, your dad is a painter and you've proven to be successful by the number of subscribers that you have. I'd be glad to pay for an instructional video on such from you. Learning how to do such properly, avoiding as many mistakes as possible, would make things so less stressful and me less fearful. I'm simply trying to continue to stay active and my profits fund charity work dear to my heart. I give gift baskets and silk florals to hospitalized and disabled Military Veterans, as well as, adults and children suffering from spinal cord &/or brain injuries or disease. Lastly, thank you for testing products on video and airing them on utube! I love arteza products, which you tested the pour paints and I'm interested in trying 2 other brands of premixed pour paints, as well. God bless you for helping others in their artistry discoveries and adventure!!

I've loved neon paint since the 70's, and the quality has improved since then. I've noticed that when the sun sets, and the sky is still a bit blue, sometimes a good bit of UV comes through, and gives the art a slight glow. It's like magic (haha). Arteza seems to be a great brand. Your pour turned out great. Thanks.

So glad you did this video for us. Love the parts of the painting with the white. That actually made it look like it was glowing light that was meant to be wild, fun and free even without the black light. The other part of the painting made me feel like it was to much of a stuck up snob to shine. And it doesn't play well with others. So, yeah, I probably don't make a whole lot of sense, but that's what I got from your paints...lol overall I like it.

Hello Molly!!! I’m planning to to a pouring piece for exterior or outdoors so you can imagine that is going to take some rain. What approach do you recommend me here? What kind of paint should I use? Or maybe I should simply seal the whole piece at the end?
@MOLLYSARTISTRY5 жыл бұрын
I would seal with a professional varnish that has uv protection. It should not really be in the elements for prolonged periods of time. Tlresin yellows faster in the sun. Arteza makes an outdoor paint as well, the link is below in the description

I am on a mission to find opaque neons after a rainbow swipe I did on a black background became a bit 'meh' after it dried. Don't get me wrong, it was really cool looking and my nephew actually asked if he could have it instead of me painting a piece specifically for him with colours he chose. It was just disappointing because they started out as this gorgeous neon rainbow and I loved it. I have one set of neon paints that actually claim to be opaque so I plan to get those next but if they don't work I'm thinking that I will have to save up and get some of the 'This Little Piggy' pigments as they do a selection of opaque neon colours. Fingers crossed for option 1 though because as beautiful as TLP piggies are to work with, they are expensive! 😂
