I would actually suggest trying to get through the parkour in the practice range without stopping (it’s very hard to do perfectly even I can’t) but trying to improve naturally improves ur Bhop and strafing.

How often would you say this crazy Neon movement actually works? Because obviously you wouldn't put fails into a highlight, just wondering how effective this movement is and how often it works compared to just getting one tapped

This is actually a great question! I would say its a 60% success rate. Let me explain. Although these plays are pretty braindead, there is actually a lot of thought behind them. Are they distracted by a team mate? Are they anticipating my timing? Are they reloading or still resetting their spray? Do they have a tap gun or spray gun? Etc. That being said there are a LOT of times that no matter how much you think through the play, their aim is just good enough to spray or tap u out of the bhop and kill you. I die very commonly in my games but as you said this is a highlight video and I only put the few plays that work out in these vids. There are also times that I just get lucky and the enemy whiffs (great example of this is the chamber at A long in my Ascendant video).

why doesn't your movement slow down after taking damage?

Rotational strafe and slide! When taking damage your directional strafe slows down. So u can’t move forward backward sideways etc. but if you rotate around one point you are technically not strafing. Additionally u will see in some clips if I do slow down I just slide to regain speed.
