Neon White - Waterworks Amethyst Tutorial

some tips from a waterworks player: 0:16 its best to do these shots and dash as early as you can get away with rather than as late as possible, so that you fall into the above water boost. this makes it so that you can land on the water below much faster. 0:21 if you want to take a tighter line here, dont be discouraged by accidentally landing on the grass as it doesnt lose much time. If you are missing these two shots you can instead shoot the first trapwire and slash the second one. 0:27 you can get an above water boost here if you shake your mouse left and right pretty vigorously (see wr) although i wouldnt always recommend it unless you are behind your ghost for amethyst, as its easy to choke a good run by slamming into the wall with so much speed. Remember to not feel too bad about not getting the main water boost down the slope. Not only is it RNG (as far as we are aware), but you can also get amethyst (and more!) without it. Focus on trying to improve your time without it rather than resetting every time you dont get it.
