The subway will connect Valenzuela City in the north to Paranaque City in the south, passing through major business districts and residential areas. It's designed to accommodate 1.5 million passengers per day.
Construction of the Metro Manila Subway has faced challenges, including delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, significant progress has been made, with tunnel boring machines already at The Phase one of the project from East Valenzuela to North Avenue is now at 50% in progress.
Shaw Boulevard Station is now in progress.The tunnel boring machine is brought to the site.The tunnelling works will begin.
Ortigas Station of the subway project is about to start construction with the site clearing in the coming weeks.Metrowalk complex is the location and some buildings near the Meralco avenue will be demolished.
The project is expected to be fully operational by 2027.

Sa Ortigas North at Ortigas South or Shaw Boulevard wala pang update dyan dahil sa issue ng Right Of Way from East Avenue to NAIA Terminals 1, 2, 3 Hanggang PITX.

1984 pa nka plano na yan ng JICA , siguro naman hinde yan umpisahan kung hinde kasama ung ROW sa pundo pambayad sa mga dadaaman tatamaan property

Diba may issue pa ng right of way jan kaya di pa nagsisimula jan sa metrowalk? Yung sa DepEd bldg ba yun? Baka di pa din nagkaka-ayos kung ano gagawin sa bldg kc sabi last time ililipat daw yun. May kakilala din akong nagtatrabaho jan sa loob ng metrowalk, naghihintay din sila ng notice na paalisin pero wala pa din naman daw tapos nadadagdagan pa nga daw yung mga nagbubukas ng negosyo jan ngayon.

ung tandang sora station matagal nang nakatengga dati pero ngayon umuusad na. ung north bound nalang ang d pa napapalitada para madaanan na ng mga sasakyan. uusad din yan ortigas north at south station.

na miss ko tuloy dumaan dyan.. october 2022 nakaka daan pa ako dyan sa kanto ng meralco avenue. may nabasa ako somewhere na permanently closed na yan kanto ng meralco avenue at shaw boulevard… magigi na syang station plaza ng subway station which para sakin make sense kasi expected na high foot traffic ung lugar.
