I had to say, three years later dealing with the same product, the concerns are the same. Definitely do your research first!

I have these with the better tether and knobs, and what i am probably most satisfied with besides the price is that they're actually comfortable to spin, almost like a normal poi. Not like the long awkward tubes with the battery in the top that i've tried before. The software really needs fixing, and thanks for shedding light on why this hasn't happened yet. But besides the awesome stabilizing feature i can't wait to get working with the morph feature also based on the accelerator which would make for SO many cool possibilities. But it HAS to get less of a hassel with the software first.

Has the software been updated since. Thinking about these but i had some from a diffrent comany and never able to use the software so only ever ran the demo that they came with.

I just got my neo poi and they were running well and suddently they turn on and off... I havent plugged them into any computer so they are still "virgin". Dont know what to do 😔

What do you do that gives your videos this sort of long exposure-like effect? Or is this just from the poi themselves? I record myself from time to time and apps just can't seem to be that good. :/

I did a tutorial on the effect about a year ago. What I'm doing now is pretty close to this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmq3iqaFf5qcmsU

I love my NeoPoi 22 w stabilization - but can't get the tops off to change the tethers on mine no matter what I do! :(

I haven't tried myself. Did you run into any problems programming them?

I just got Neopoi 64 and they look super nice, BUT the same thing happened also to me: I made my own program and now there's a broken file in one folder and I can't delete it. So now that poi doesn't function at all and I don't know what to do... Any tips?
@Kirjapallo4 жыл бұрын
I should add that I managed to program the other poi just fine, but I guess it was the copy & paste which got the other poi confused (I don't have the wireless synchronization).

Hi! How can I put my own images to the pois? I connected the pois to the PC, do a new folder, and pick into my image (89 x 64 px), but the pois dosent recognize it. There is any software what I used?

I know this is silly but I always find myself wondering if programmable poi can do orbitals since I never see anyone do them. I’ve had my eye on neopoi for a while now and will probably be buying a pair soon. I’m just not sure what length to get yet. Also, what is the weight like on these? Any way to make them heavier in case I want more control?
@NeoFlowArt4 жыл бұрын
If poi length no more 25 cm, you can do orbitals, why not? But we will need a little customizing your props, for it you need swivels and thick ropes. Also we can add to the order caps with extra weight, it is not a problem.

I bought the caps from moodhoops and put them over the top. Added weight and protection

Absolute dog water poi. Will break and break and the company won’t help at all. Handles are insanely buggy and don’t work long. If you drop them on a pillow they’ll break. Terrible customer service terrible product. Out of country and takes forever to deal with them. Stay away from this company

For 100 more, you can get Pyroterra Light Toys Vision stix. They have an easy to use computer program for uploading patterns image, even, even animated clips., their durability is great! You just have to seal every opening so your sweat doesn't fry the mother board (like i did with mine 3 months after I got them. And they actually have a warranty that is fair and available for life. NeoFlowArt does not have a warranty, even though they claim to online. 6 days after I received mine, the middle part of the micro usb charging port broke in half and is on the brink of breaking completely. Not only am I very careful with my props, but I've never had this issue with any of my electronics. I emailed them right away to start a claim. I was told that I would have to ship my prop back to them, and wait another 3 weeks to get it back, AND I would be invoiced for delivery to and from, as well as $30 for the repair. So roughly $100 to fix the charging port. Even though their website says all repairs are covered within the first year, and shipping is covered if claim is made within 1 month of receiving my props. When I asked why I have to pay, attaching the portion of their terms of service that clearly stated that I was within warranty limits, I was told that they are only covered under the warranty during shipment from their facility to my doorstep. So I paid a local computer repairman to fix it for $25, which voids their non existent warranty. But I didn't have to wait 6 weeks to get my complete set back .anyways. I'm very disappointed. Shocked actually. I suggest you buy your props somewhere else.
