You know what I absolutely love about Knuckles' story? It's not just the fact that the game itself takes place seconds after Sonic 3, but the fact that with Metal Sonic copying Knuckles' appearance, not only does Metal need time to perfect Knuckles' abilities (he shows fatigue in his first fight in Sunset Park), but now the idea of "Knuckles being tricked" gets turned on its head as now Sonic & Tails are deceived into believing that Knuckles is the enemy! I even love the explanation behind the Chaos Emeralds warping away as Metal plans to collect them for himself, so Knuckles uses the Master Emerald to keep them away from Metal Sonic as long as possible! Seriously, I can gush about how much I love this game all day lol.

@@NeoRageCH Yeah, as far as the games go, I believe the only time where Metal Sonic copied others' appearances was in Sonic Heroes. Via his Neo form, he took the guise of Eggman to distract all 4 teams so his plan of gathering their data could go into fruition. And when he needed Perfect Chaos' data as well, he kidnapped Chocola Chao and Froggy, but under a Sonic disguise so Team Rose would think Sonic was the culprit.

I love how they made Knuckles' story after S3&K here fits so well in Triple Trouble like the game is a Sequel to the previous story that happened 3 seconds ago. As for Sonic's Story, just abit stretched that it happened consecutively without taking a rest.

For Knuckles, it's fine because it feels like it's just the beginning between him and Mecha Sonic (which maybe now it's Metal).
