Nepal is More Than Mountains - Luxury Safari in Chitwan National Park

My friends and I stayed at a 5-star resort in Chitwan National Park, Nepal called Barahi Jungle Lodge. It's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed and it served as a perfect base for exploring the park. Over the course of 24 hours, we went on an evening boat safari, saw rhinos, danced with local Nepalis, and went on a sunrise Jeep safari - all of which was organized through the lodge. After spending 2.5 months traveling Nepal, I can confidently say visiting Chitwan is a MUST if you're planning a trip there. It really rounded out our trip and showed us a side of Nepal I didn’t know existed.

Chitwan is lovely but for me Bardiya is better. It takes much longer to get to but far better chance of seeing a tiger. I love Nepal and am in fact still here in monsoon season.
