Today is my first full day exploring all over Pokhara. It is a special day as I was invited by Kyle and Madina aka ‪@TheKhanQuest‬ to join them for the day to explore Pokhara and get my first impressions of this place. Our first stop was over at the house of ‪@AnkitaShresthaAnku‬. Her and her family were so kind to make us a very delicious breakfast meal with some tea. After that, we headed over to a local temple. Then we tried a local snack at one of Anku's recommended spot. Finally, we took a boat over to the island temple which made for an incredible first impression of this city, Pokhara.

LIVING BEING IS OUR RACE, MANKIND IS OUR RELIGION, HINDU,MUSLIM,SIKH,CHRISTAIN, THERE IS NO SEPARATE RELIGION ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR is the father of all souls that JESUS, MOHAMMAD, GURU NANAK, VEDH was telling in BIBLE, QURAN, GURU GRANTHA SAHEB .. In OLD Orthodox Jewish Bible KABIR is mentioned...KABIR means (GREAT or MIGHTY GOD) in hebrew...but when translated in different languages translator removed KABIR word Quran written in arabic has also KABIR word....KABIR means THE GREAT in arabic. In vedh also KABIR is mentioned.... GURU NANAK himself described that LORD KABIR is his Guru and Lord KABIR met him..and in GURU GRANTHA SAHEB Guru Nanak called Lord kabir as kartar (GOD) Just by reading holy books it is impossible to get depth knowledge of Holy text because we are just a living beings.. In vedhas also KABIR is mentioned...our brain isnot capable and doesnot understands the secrets behind the words and world.....GURU NANAK, JESUS AND MOHAMMAD were aware of LORD KABIR but later followers were not able to get depth knowledge

The structure you saw from the boat is a part of the former King's palace called 'ratna mahal'. The king and queen used to stay there when they visited Pokhara. I heard they are planning to turn it into a museum.
@NewZman23
@NewZman23 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's the boat jetty that the royal family used if they were visiting and staying at Ratna Mandir Royal palace and wanted to go boating on the lake. Also king Birendra's brother before he was the last King Gyanendra had a private house near here. When the royal family were visiting Pokhara and wanted to go boating on the lake the whole lake was closed to locals and tourists all day. I have friends who at that time (1982) earned their daily meals income to feed a family of 10 by renting boats to tourists They had 2 boats.. If they couldn't rent their boats they made no money that day and had to borrow money or rice to eat. Thankfully, at this time this only happened a couple of times a year.

6:05 Firangi is a hindi word to call tourist as outsiders or white basically. In Nepal we basically old people call Gora or Gore or Kuire as most of the tourist are white in colour or their colour is brown...no disrespect. We love tourist and we watch vlogs just to see their reactions about beauty of Nepal.

As far as I'm aware The structure you're talking about at 31:14 is the building used by royal families specially prince and king for a short getaways, partying etc when nepal had monarchy like couple of decades ago.. Now its probably abandoned or used by government as some office.. Not sure If this is the one but there's definetly a building somewhere around the banks of this lake which was used by royal families

@05:00 That guy said he has no change and said same thing in indian language, super clear and loud enough. May be she had some bad experience somewhere else. You have 2 ears and only 1 mouth, should have listened properly first, before judging. Her friend, sitting in front also followed her without listening 🤦‍♂. For some people honesty is precious than money, which some people will never understand. Welcome to Nepal. Didnt wanted to say but " THIS LADY and HER FRIEND☕" I am not saying all Nepalese are honest, but better not to judge people from outlook. There is a lot to judge from her outlook tho but i believe she has a nice soul🙏😌 Peace and Love

I recommend you to explore Pokhara during daytime because you can see mountains and other mesmerizing views very vividly and clearly. The rest of the time, morning and evening, because of fog, the views are too blurry.

Hey Mac, I am watching this from USA. I am actually from Nepal so I like your video and how you speak Nepali language. Keep it up. I will suggest you, if you have time you should visit Bandipur city (which is located on Middle of the Nepal) you should ask any one they can give you location detail. you can see very good mountain range from Bandipur. you should visit in Pokhara: 1. Sarankot (use cable car) 2. Phewa tal Lake 3. Shiv statue 4. Buddha Statue (shanti palace ) 5. paragliding from sarankot 6. view for all fishtail mountain by helicoptor tour 7. night life of Pokhara 8. Begnash Taal (Begnsah Lake) 9. Pokhara street food

Beautiful lake and landscape, pockara is more spacious , luminous and less caotic than khatmandu and over you can see the open Sky through the buildings not as in khatmandu

In comparison to other youtubers like Dale, you had the much better experience of Nepal. You got the opportunity to taste the local food, went to places which are not tourist traps. You got the best experience of Pokhara. You experienced the things that I do every time I go back to my hometown which is pokhara.

It is not Chinese Gompa, it is called Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa in Nepali)in Pokhara and was built by Nipponzan-Myōhōji (Japanese) monk Morioka Sonin with local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist monk and the founder of Nipponzan-Myōhōji. Shanti is a Sanskrit word meaning peace, also widely used in the Nepali and Hindi languages, and Shanti Stupa means Peace Pagoda. Shanti Stupa shrine was built as a symbol of peace. Situated at the height of 1100 meters on the Anadu Hill
