Lesson learnt for everyone, only patronize businesses where prices are displayed on a price tag, a menu, a pricing board etc. Businesses that have no prices and depend on you to ask them, generally practise price discrimination. That means, the price can fluctuate depending on your skin color, sales for that week etc...Personally I've learnt that lesson. It's not about a product or service being cheaper in a certain country as compared to yours, that's missing the whole point. The point is, customers have a right to transparent pricing, and would still patronize as long as there is transparency. For example, certain tourist attractions will have 2 pricings stated, one for local one for tourists, and usually the tourist price will be higher than the local price. Do such businesses lose customers because of the disparity in price? Absolutely not, people appreciate the honesty and openness always.
