Hi sis, could you ask your mum why she didn’t put garlic clove in deep? I was watching other u tube , they are showing to put garlic clove 2 inch deep .

Oh hi 🥰 I checked with my mum, and she said that garlic and onions are always planted shallow so that when the roots start growing, they naturally pull the garlic down. Planting them this way also allows the garlic bulb to grow bigger re, as deeper planting might restrict its space to expand.
