Looks like you guys miss the BHAKTAPUR's main landmark monuments NYATAPOLA TEMPLE and CHANGU NARAYAN TEMPLE ARCADE ( tallest and oldest temple , NYATAPOLA built in sometimes 17th century, CHANGU NARAYAN was built in 300/400 AD ) , it is just 7 minutes walking distance from the BHAKTAPUR DURBAR SQUARE. Lovely vlog ❤❤

Bhaktapur has done great job reconstructing the buildings that were damaged by earthquake unlike Kathmandu.

To be honest, idk about Kathmandu and patan but bhaktapur municipality actually does kinda depends upon tourist money as there are colleges like khwopa college and khwopa engineering college, khwopa hospital,etc are all kinda operated by bhaktapur municipality using tourist money and stuff. Let's just say bhaktapur municipality utilizes tourist money better than Kathmandu and lalitpur hence they did repaired these historical temples and stuff. Bhaktapur used to be capital of Nepal Mandal currently known as Kathmandu valley. And if I'm not mistaken it is like oldest city among the three main city or they have atleast managed to become more traditional in a balanced way than Kathmandu and lalitpur as these two cities has gotten more modernized.
