The point is to use the players you want to use. Unless you are top 100, and playing for real money, there's really no use to chase the meta. Results will be the same for the most part. Unless you use bronzes or silvers. As an example, I packed TOTY Renard, but put her in the Vieira SBC because I prefer him in real life, and like to emulate his style in game.

My team is far from meta, not because I don't have time, but because of the players I like irl, and I manage to stay competitive with the best purely due to being a decent enough player, and a style I'm passionate about. My point is that there's no need to catch up, and have a meta team, which then leads to my final point which is that it's not a valid excuse for bad content. They could atleast release daily evos.

Its hard to see any new mode added not getting competitive. Everyone wants packs to get their players and they want it the easiest way possible . Personally i would prefer a single player rush system similar to squad battles so i can enjoy rush with competent players more often than not

What's funny is that this community is never happy. Every year, everyone complained that they couldn't pack a single toty and ea needed to boost the pack weight. Now, this year, they added infinte 82x20 for you to grind, and now people are complaining that they are facing teams with too many totys. This community is unpleasable. Smh.

Personally I don't mind it. The last 10 days of toty was the best we've had. The problem is people are just so bland picking from the same group of 20 players. I make a point of using random cards I pack or just doing silly evos not necessarily that improve on my team just boost the depth of my club

I have a full Sunderland past and present team and I have no players in the academy so them not giving any normal evos is really rough and I feel like I’m getting further away from the power curve and it’s really disappointing espescially during one of my favourite promos of the game cycle.

I use evos for my Blackburn players, we don't have unlimited evos for all these stunted cards they release. Just release a complete player at that SBC cost and let us use him NOW.
