Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my KZbin Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
Find that greater purpose in life than just to be happy. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

This is a very emotional song. It's about losing the ones that we love, and very meaningful to naqiu because his mother passed away few years ago. He dedicated this song to his late mother. Bonda hetty cried because she understand naqiu's feeling and the fact that nobody could hold their feelings when singing for/about their mother. Bonda hetty salute naqiu for being able to control his emotions throughout the song. If you watch the entire video, you can see naqiu cried while bonda hetty gave her comment. Bonda hetty said that was the best performance of the night.

Every bait of the lyric was beautifully written and blended well with the melody, its a masterpiece song from the legendary composer Datuk M Nasir. Added with the choir and full orchestra, these performance arguably the best performance from any GV final. 😭
