5 months late but as someone who platinum'd dmc 5 i have to say you are very very wrong about breakers (yes they could've been handled better but they're definitely not useless as you say)

My main complaints with the breakers is that they break and you can't switch between them without breaking the one you currently have, unless there was some switch mechanic I missed. If it weren't for those two things, I would have loved them. As they are, I'd rather just use the bringer.

I honestly made a multiclass Nero build for Monk Way of Astral Self and Artificer Battle Smith. I just didn’t include the Steel Defender in the build.

Drastic departure from Tulok’s build. I would’ve dumped Cha since he radiates that awkward little brother energy, despite the Smokin’ Sweet Style and got Int up higher since he managed to modify Red Queen to his specifications and even made Blue Rose on his own in a strictly no-guns-allowed environment as well as having to learn how to use the arms that Nico gives him

Yeah, I finally let myself watch his video now that I've got mine up. I actually probably could have snuck some of those Devil Breakers in after all. I need to work on thinking out of the box better.

One thing to note about Branding Smite, is that it can be using with ranged weapons. So you do the full charge shot with Blue Rose. Or the Tomboy Breaker if you are so inclined...

Interesting. I don’t know much about the DMC universe but an interesting build. I would like to see Way of the Astral self build to see how it plays out.

Hate to be an "um, actually" guy, but technically they're only nephilim in DMC, the remake they made. In the main Devil May Cry canon, there's only devil in the mix. But yes, they get a very wide range of powers.
