Got a raise at my job and my first day off in over a week, so I think I'm doing good.

Man, Trevor is just a fun character, it's sad that the whip got treated so badly in 5e, it's only niche is being a finesse reach weapon or a finesse one handed weapon, which is more niches than most but that 1d4 really hurts, I personally would've gone more Monk to go Kensei and habe a higher damage dice for my whip, I probably would also start Fighter for CON saves

I considered more Monk, but I decided that between Slayer's Prey, Hunter's Mark, and d10 maneuvers I was probably getting plenty of damage. Basically you're looking at a minimum of 11, an average of 22, and a maximum of 33 on the first hit, then 10/19/27 on all subsequent hits, including a bonus action unarmed attack after getting both Slayer's Prey and Hunter's Mark up.

My take is 12 lvls of Inquisitive Rogue or Battle Master Fighter (ol’ mate is a master tactician, especially during the siege of Gresit) and 8 lvls of Kensei Monk. I guess the boomerang will constitute as the combat cross, maybe change the property to slashing/piercing and give it the finesse property. With standard array: Dex 15, Wis 14, Con 13, Int 12 (not as erudite as Sypha or Alucard but still knowledgeable enough in monster/vampire lore), Str 10 (since expertise in Athletics and proficiency in the save practically mitigate this) and Cha 8.
