Buhari like jonathan, obj, did not fail, it's the 1999 constitutions that failed. Don't go to the pool on that enslaving 1999 constitutions and expect any ANGEL to succeed. 2023 will be bad for nigeria if they don't put off the elections and address the real issue - 1999 constitutions!

Nigerians have worst form of amnesia, if not, how can a true lover of Nigeria would want Buhari to be a leader of Nigeria. Just few examples, Buhari as a military leader backdated a decree to enable him kill 3 southern youths for drug trafficking simply because there as no Fulani youth was involved, more that 40 years after, is drug trafficking not worse than what it was then? He managed Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) of Abacha era, how much of that huge fund was invested in the South. Buhari willfully canceled Lagos metro train line more than 40 years ago, today we are celebrating its eventual take off, has anyone taken time to quantify the wealth and progress the nation missed. These are just few examples, if one properly profile the Buhari calamity in the nation's psyche particularly as it concerns the south, its peoples and other people who are not Fulani or his adopted Kanuri stock; the impact would be very huge.

Rev Kukah is just always apt! Always said the problem with Nigeria is not so much that of leadership than it is the followership - the People. What is wrong with a people who keep putting in power incompetent "leaders"? I'd say the answer is in our TRADITION!!! Untl we jettison that tradition that says you cannot question your "elder", the tradition that puts the "elder" above the younger for wrong or right....then there will be no change!!!

Great!!! Quite enriching and inspiring. The illiteracy level is so high in Nigeria. Once the people are well educated and leaders run Nigeria under competitiveness then we have a United country not one that nepotism has become the norm. Nepotism is a systemic failure and it is used to hold on to power and the result is crisis in governance due to incompetence. Nigeria is a troubled nation, crisis laden and I have often been thinking how the nation can come out of this huge challenge.

It is worrisome that Nigerians themselves have problems and do not know what is right to ask again. Corruption is eaten, drunk, worn and I guess 'enjoyed' by them. Patriotism is far from so many because I can't understand how and why such Nigerians would be grandstanding and clapping for people who are obviously destroying the system and by extension, their lives. There is need for a total mindset refurbishment. Thank you Bishop Kukah for your commitment to seeing a great Nigeria 🇳🇬 Shalom 🙏

It is more than clear that our politicians just govern as they wish, not with any regard for rule of law and engagement. See how messed up the discussion has been, dragging issues from one administration to another, administrative mismanagement, of public funds and use of money. So many of them should be in jail, not walking free. Loans taken without judicious use, abandoned projects everywhere, citizens been owed money/salaries and pensions as well.
