Every week people send me pictures of bigger, more impressive munchie boxes, and with restaurants still closed for the time being, I thought it might be the perfect time to kick start a new series hunting down and sampling some of the finest out there!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Lol Beard, mushroom sandwiches are ABSOLUTELY a thing!!! Grilled portobello “burgers” are on menus everywhere, and they’re lovely. Mushroom and swiss burgers/sandwiches are also common. I would eat all your mushrooms for you if I could, man. 😢 They’re my favorite.

Neptune is one of Wakey's lesser known gems. Been around for years and I've never heard a bad word. I used to go in there a couple of times a month for their steak and kidney pie, (proper home made crust.. none of that fancy Puff Pastry nonsense...) best in town. That was thirty years ago... last time I went in was last year and it was still as good... Wonder if the Redbeck could prepare something Beard worthy???
