What would have been nice if they would have made it upgradable for the existing ones that you have just a new head slide in would have been fantastic.

i believe the heads are the same, the big changes would be in the driver board it self and how it controls the motors

Yeah, I’m very excited about this one. I do ATO with DOS and they are loud as heck, I have to turn them off when guests stay in the next room over.

@@ReefDudes I’m so happy (sobs quietly with joy). It’s freaking quiet bruh, I cannot hear it in the laundry room. My guest will sleep better, they hang on what ends up being the guest closet other side of the wall. Now, I can finally use my DOS 1.0 for dosing instead of ATO. I have a small house, I could hear the 1.0 across it with ease. I wonder if I’m now going to wake up thinking something is wrong,, I’ll miss the reminders that the ATO is functioning. Maybe that’s a use for the reef factory Apex lights I got while drinking.

Beautiful! Mine was fine for dosing but loud for everything else.

The original DOS uses a stepper motor, so the noise varies based on how many ML you dose, turn it up the 9,000ML like mine and you’ll understand why they made the QD. Very very loud.

Is it still the same maximum gallons/day limit for AWC compared to old DOS?

Really hoping to see Neptune drop a DOS x DOS where it is 4 heads in a more compact form. I just might replace my Versas if they came out with that. Fusion is hands down better than Mobius.

There is lots of space in side, you could always cram it into a smaller housing.. I'm not sure if that air space around it is for cooling or just to fit the design.

If you have time that would be helpful. Original DOS are mostly-ok for dosing small quantities. Its for AWC that they get insanely loud.

It’s nothing but garbage junk. I got mine yesterday. The pumps were not screwed in so I said let me screw them in only to find out that the casing for the whole unit somehow, they’ve made it where you cannot tighten the screws and the doors and pump works the motors are exactly what they were before so no motors have been replaced with any quiet motor, what they’ve done is change the circuit board to slow the motor down. It’s not screaming loud that high RPMs it’s a total rip off. Everyone knew from the get-go that the moment the company was sold. We were gonna suffer the consequences of those actions I have videos I have photos of the motors with the seat with the parts number it’s just shocking to see to the level that this company has slipped too. It’s all about money. The qualit of the dosing pump is horrible. Do better you guys need to do much better and stop ripping off the consumers. I’m gonna post these videos all over the Internet because people need to know what you’ve done. It’s a horrible thing not only me don’t take it for me. only look in the Internet you’ll see the amount of people having problems with it, when I type the screws, the motor would even turn. I built a lot of custom tons of people and in all my years I have never seen such garbage a manufacturer put out to scam people money again how many increases last year with their products don’t buy this product

If you have Versas and use a MXM module, isn’t that basically the same thing? Or are these supposed to be quieter than the Versas?
