I've been on a neptunes old footage binge lately. I'm just now realizing what an impact they had on a 7-13 year old me. To this day I hear neptunes songs from the 2000s and I feel like this was the pinnacle of modern music across all genres. I gotta throw timbaland name out too. He was on fire at the time with his production across all genres. Must be a VA thing everybody out of that state was dope.

PompeyBeats just a question do you have to learn music theory to make beats also what equipment should I get if im just starting out
@pompeybeats89157 жыл бұрын
theory is good for foundation to build on but in my experience and many others, its not absolutely necessary. I use mostly Fruity Loops software right now, but I started on the Roland Fantom X6 keyboard. If I were just starting out making music, I'd get into conversations and meetings with your local church musicians. Sorry so long winded but lastly, I'd use a lot of my time sampling and recreating so you can find out the mannerisms of music so to speak. Good luck my friend

People don't realize that alot of producers stockpile so much music before it's even considered for release, that by the time it's put out (or not), they've moved on musically 5 times over. That plays alot into several repetitive sounding beats coming out after a few hit it big.

They had a signature yes a lil sound that goes "yup thats the neptunes" however alot of their music you could tell was formed by the influence of the things that inspire them; and also the person in the room. They werent afraid to play around, take risk and be weird. They forever stay students to music...and that is why chad and pharrells are masters of the craft

Hi Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity. It's very hard to do in this day and age. People can be, somewhat very superficial. On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. It seems to me that those who are not given traits such as beauty or being wealthy are some of the nicest, kindest and generous people. While the "gorgeous" and well off seem to be the most arrogant and greedy people out there. Of course that's not to say there aren't beautiful kind people out there. I've been in the process of change for a while now and I have made some decent changes. I saw your profile and it intrigued me. I wanted to learn more about who you are and what type of path you would like on in life. Can we talk?
