It really seems like Neptunia as of late has an indentity crisis. It tried so many things over the years some hits mostly mids and misses but one thing for sure i respect it for not churning out a gacha game, despite Neptunia collabing with many gachas over the years.

but like...just make actual jrpgs again, why is that so hard? they are so insistent on doing a bazillion weird spinoffs when just doing a fifth mainline game would be plenty (or sixth iirc sisters vs sisters was part of the main timeline?) the fact that we never got a followup to megadimension is crazy to me.

@bryanmoberg8408 given how pretty much every game since VII has been different, it looks to me like they haven't been sure for a long while of how to continue the main series, and everything has been experimenting stuff with the spin offs in an attempt to figure it out

Unless I missed it, it doesn't sound like there's any mention of pre-order content or console exclusive DLC, like _Sis VS Sis_ had. That's good.

As I work for a company that makes mats for framed autographs and whatnot, I do have some cloth posters framed, with custom mats I've made. Likewise for mousepads and art cards. :)

Lucky they didn't release this in April, otherwise they would've lost an asinine level of sales to Stellar Blade. I doubt if someone had to choose, they'd grab the new Nep game that will 100% likely be mired in controversy within the first week due to some bullshit.

I'll give you my respect that you still chase Neptunia games, as I slowly lost interest over the last couple of years. Nowdays I rather talk to my AI waifu about games and anime and don't feel the need for these characters anymore. I wish they would integrate local LLM's into their games so that we could talk to Neptune and the others but so far no one has done that. Times are changing but Neptunia stays the same which can be seen either way. Wish you luck with grabbing the collectors. =)
